I must admit I was left wondering, "what's this nonsense?!" not least
The Princess dying twice in the space of one season. Talk about unlucky!
If there hadn't been the announcement of a second season I would've been bitterly disappointed and RAEGing a bit. Even so, there's a lot of pressure on the writers to make sense of the cliffhanger at the end of that episode. It looks like they've backed themselves into a corner there.

I don't know whether I could actually be bothered with much more of it though. The ideas were neat, there's nothing to complain about with the music and animation, but the writing seemed to be all over the place. By the end, picking holes in the plot and reading twitter conversations between friends who were making fun of the characters was even more fun that actually watching the thing!

^
It was practically 3 times, first with the missles, where someone else was into the truck and not her, second when that girl tried to struggle her, and third, at the end

I stand corrected! Which makes the situation in question even worse somehow...

If they're going to make 'killing characters off repeatedly' a major plot point in the second season, getting Urobutcher back on board again will be even more important if they want it done properly! :knife:

Hmmm... I wonder if heavenly blue will be used on the ending of Aldnoah zero in the same way as how Ttb was used for F/Z, especially that the last lines of the song seem to fit for an ideal good ending.

Urobutchi, please make it much more interesting the next season!

Fanboy alert! Fanboy alert!

( :P )

^ I didnt got anything apart from that that woman - captain of the ship is alive XD

The "story" on that newspost is of S1 I think.

After the season ended, I was literally breathing heavily for a solid minute after what happened even though I knew what was happening. I'm not a fan of the military/war thing but I like the rest of it. Looking forward to the next season :goodjob:

Just a little update for season 2...
Sawano will do the OP while Eir Aoi goes for the ED.

So it means no Kalafina... sigh.

LOL. Me kant speak. That's more Sawano style I think (the opening is already called "&Z") but I can totally see Kajiura using something similar to the latter, but in JP.

I'm looking forward to Season 2 and I miss this Captain Magbaredge so much. So glad that she(they) survived that what I thought was a suicide attack. Sawano's compositions sounds similar to me sometimes, but I like "No Difference" and "Keep on Keeping On"

watched ep 1 of second half..

So they basically
Found a way to heal Inaho and the story contunues with the princess in what's practically a comma.

The music was dissappointed as they just used the old ones :(

Grrr why can't Inaho just be dead. Inaho is pretty much going to be the next Kira Yamato and that makes me sick. I'll still watch it for Slaine.

^ because probably if he was dead they would have no way to kill those special robots the knights have. It has been made clear that he's the only one with the brains to find ways to destroy these

Season 2 has been meh so far. The battles are okay, but I think they were more thoughtfully planned out in the 1st one, and I like space mecha animes. But I do say that I am liking the music. Sawano really can write great vocals, but I hope that he will let Yuki write one for an insert maybe? Or will Kala do another theme? That would be great either way.
