Yuki Kajiura to compose for Chinese Movie “L.O.R.D.”

Eri with Kajiurago would be godlike.

If just a straight up japanese cover, I think I'd like to hear Kaori take shot more than Wakana.
 
It sounds very Kajiura-ish, remind me of various Kajiura's songs, but I can't name all of them... Hikari no Yukue is just one among them...:@_@: but I know that I would prefer its Kajiurago's version... I wonder will we have a chance for it...:ayashii:.
Edit: It may be because I still keep listening to Kalafina's 5th album, for me, the melody of Monochrome is quite outstanding in this song....O___O.

Completely agreed on the monochrome.
 
Wow Kagaribi is right, i compared the 2 songs and the chinese sounds as if its a chinese version of monochrome with hikari no yukue (FJW) arrangement.
 
I find it really amazing that Kajiura is composing for a different country! Like, really amazing! It's like a band moving their market to a different country, like from Japan to America. I'm also liking 'Ling Xi Dong', especially the ending of it.

Under Yuki's twit have gathered up many user comments saying that that movie director is very infamous in China for plagiarizing other works (clamp among others) and there have been courts against him and he never apologises. and they ask her to reconsider.
They say the movie is copy of FSN Claymore and Lord of the Rings.

I guess its too late for Kajiura to withdraw now, the movie comes out in 2 weeks. I hope this doesnt affect very bad her reputation among japanese studios.

i dont know but people seem to not like that she is providing its music, which kinda means that she is ok with it being product of plagiarisation. (there's also a possibility that she didnt know about the director and was tricked?)

from as far as i could see it has huge eagles, walking trees and men in hood just like Lotr

Yeah that does not sound like Kajiura-sensei at all. Not even in the slightest. It's more like your typical movie BGM with all the strings and stuff.

The theme song sounds like she composed it, but the BGM? No way.
