Yuki Kajiura's own agency - FictionJunction Music [Confirmed]

Zero involvement from Spacecraft. Considering live 14 was announced the same day she announced she was leaving, I thought L14 would be like a good bye gift, hue.
And on Bamco Live creative:
INteresting. I wonder if bamco is involved because of pripri tracks.

^ Trust me, if it was like that, YK wouldnt have stayed for 25 years there.

Japan should get serious about their declining population and send to the court those agencies that dictate if one can date or marry or have kids.
The rate of the population is more important than the revenue of few companies, and if the fans care about the artists for real they should let them have the personal life they want for themselves, and not to have them single for life so that fans can dream about marrying them or god knows what else.

The article doesn't sound that scary for me, except those involving prostitute stuff. It just shows the big contrast in system between western and Japan. Artists aren't the clients of the agencies but more like employees, which is known for decades. And the more fame you have, the more freedom you have. I think Yuki's passed that point for a decade as well.

As for their love life, consider from Yuuka's case, SC shouldn't be like that..(or Yuuka wasn't there anymore when she got married..? Or it's changed since that new executive came?)

Kagaribi, that depends on the artist's intention. More fame doesn't necessary mean more freedom. It's the condition in which fame that matters. For people perspective on her is highly relevant in being able to bargain with agencies. It matters for she has leverage to use. As for SC or other agencies, as long as they know what they are getting out of your brand. That outlook determines whether they can take them at word that it can last. Not all fame last long, some require lots of reminding to make it stick. Other ones doesn't require that much to have it last for they hit on something that works.

Bandai definitively is going to be cautious with this. For in case it fails, all blame is solely on the artists and Kaijura. After all, they aren't fools for not seeing what is on the wall.

On Yuuka, she has been very deliberate on keeping it secret and literally not letting people know. After all, if people can smell it, then as an artist you aren't really hiding. Actually, Yuuka has discussing secretly discussing with higher ups on that. She already sense that many people left. It wasn't a one off. Furthermore, that has happening for quite a while.

The other thing is how they use internet and social media. Most people that have private lives are careful around the internet and social media.

I agree with you that in many cases, you need to sacrify your freedom in exchange of maintaining or increasing your fame. It's sad, but it's also partly an artist's choice, even if it's not fully under their control. I feel that the problem doesn't lie only on the agencies, but also on the fans and how the society reacts to the issue. I don't know much 'bout Yuuka's incident though.

Awesome! Im so excited!! :D the magenta part of that logo makes no sense and its no catchy for the memory, but we'll see.

Btw i wonder what happened to that fictionjunction.com resign we had witnessed for few hours ?

I don't think there's anything to be actually excited about for us consumers?

Edit: Actually scratch that since I just expressed my happiness that this might be a 1-person business.

^ I could see the "m" but the rest needed more attention. And a logo isnt good enough if you need so much time to tell what it actually is. Luckily there is the full words name there too.

im excited because she gets to be truly independent now, and im happy for her :)

Thanks tsubasa ! From the 2nd line we can tell the new company is not a record label but an agency.

There are no rules to naming the companies (apart from menthioning the type next to the name, eg sa ltd etc). The fact that many record labels put "Music" next to the name shows the field of activity, (that they sell music), but that doesnt mean that Yuki doesnt create music as well, so she also has the right to put "music" there :)

Also big Companies like Sony or Bandai have other fields of activity too, eg, Sony Computer Entertainment is games and consoles publisher, so naming SME as it is helps people to differentiate.

Btw made this to show you how the logo would be much easier readable in my opinion. It might be less artistic but it works.

So Yuki's finally managing herself. Here's hoping the new freedom leads to interesting projects and music. The logo is very cute.
