I could only watch the 5 songs on youtube but I think they are great, this new Woman is great replacement for Wakana!
 
(assuming we're talking about the same channel) Those youtube videos have Joelle's o-face as the thumbnails lmao i can't watch them without laughing first

at least two people have uploaded the whole concert to youtube lol thanks anyway Kajiura and staff

that frame edit is yuck ugly, it cringes me every time i watch it
 
I decided to revisit “key of the twilight (live)” from the best of kajiura live album.... and man do I actually prefer Kaori as main. I love Joelle’s rendition — but the brightness in KAORI’s voice during the bridge in the live album version.... just wow. And KAORI’s English pronunciation was actually pretty on point in this....

Agreed. I also prefer Kaori on Fake Wings. Joelle sounds more like Emily but I feel like Kaori's voice suits both songs better
 
I'm torn because Kaori did a good job singing it in the past and her singing it again would've helped balance the setlist, but on the other hand, we didn't have a good recording of Joelle's version before and she did a great.
 
I've watched a few songs on youtube. They've been pretty nice.

But, why on Earth would they not publish this gig on any lossless format (CD, FLAC...)? 🤨🤔 I mean, YK has always struck me as a perfectionist about audio. It's hard for me to imagine that publishing this studio live only on a lossy MP3 format would be something she was happy or even ok with.

If they published this on any lossless media save LP, I would buy it instantly.
 
Indeed. The setlist and the lack of audience noise makes this the one live I want on my shelf, too.

Still hoping for it to be a tokuten bluray with the new FictionJunction album. Probably not but one can dream...

Watched again and I'd actually like a themed Studio Reprise series, focusing on the full soundtrack of one anime series (or movie) per concert, sort of like a suite, where they can freely perform more obscure songs in soundtracks, rather than just collating the hits.

Actually curious to see this same studio setting with LINO LEIA and Emiko also contributing lead and backing vocals.

Maybe sacrilegious, but I was imagining "In the Land of Twilight, Under the Moon" with LL and Emiko doing the ending duet counterpoint. 🤔
