It's a bit too bad about Debut. Guess it does demand more CPU power and RAM than I expected although it works fine for me coz of the despicable fact that I have a gaming laptop and use it to run Debut. ^^;

Anyway, you may want to check out AYYX's post regarding using Fraps to capture the screen.

Speaking of which, I may finally and permanently switch to using Fraps myself as well. Never had the time nor luxury to experiment with it properly before. :imdead:
 
I recommend BRS free recorder, I used it before and it does a pretty good job. No limits, and the file size depends on the resolution you choose. Just that after 15 days you have to buy the program... :sparkleguy:

You can use it for both i guess. I just went to ustream, opened a video, and a yellow number (fps) appeared on the video.
 
Thanks for the help everyone! Strangely enough, Fraps does indeed work with Ustream, which is a bit strange as it doesn't with anything else (other than games). Frame rate is about 25 - 26, so that's what you'll get if I manage to record (it could all go wrong tomorrow!). If so, is that acceptable to you guys? Kowz seems pretty sorted for recording, but a backup would be handy I think!

The last time I used USTREAM, you can just download the archived video with IDM. :ayashii:
 
^I think i'm going to do that. Turns out that my laptop can't really handle FRAPS, and the recorded video will end up with 10fps, which is crap.

I'll do what Yuki88 said, and either upload it in parts to Mediafire, or create a torrent.

Gosh i'm reading news way to late lately. Will anybody download the archived video later on? I recommend using HttpFox add on for fire fox, it gives you direct download link and best possible quality (i've done so for many ustream archived videos and works like magic).
I'd love to pay for this an watch it lave ... but i can't aford that atm due to my exams T_T .... and i doubt videos will be archived after one month when i'll finally be free of the exams.
THis said.... anybody knows how long the vides will actually stay archived?
