hikaru sings "falling snow" perfectly (including the "L" and "w" sound) in snow falling and says "kalafina club" on the radio show with good pronunciation, as opposed to "karafina kurabu". she's also read "please go on world tour someday" in the radio show very clearly. and during anna ni she sings "i cried in vain" and had no problems with the "v" and the "r".

which is why if kalafina ever performs anything w/ more english, hikaru would be my top choice, although i agree that wakana has improved. keiko is... :uh..: :XD:

i don't like some of kaori's pronunciation in everytime you kissed me and key of twilight because it sounded like she was getting a bit careless with how she was singing the words, but i LOVED her winter and fake wings. she'd still be my first pick for anyone in FJ to sing english songs, followed by wakana.

I actually don't want Kaori singing most of the songs...she sang Winter, she sang most of the lead on Key of the Twilight, and she sang Fake Wings too :vortex:

Apparently her range must be the most similar to Emily Bindiger's, but Kaori's voice just isn't my favorite. I hope that Keiko gets featured a little more, and especially Yuriko - her voice could probably fit in March.

And hopefully Fion will join in for Lotus, if that's performed live :dote:
 
I like yuriko's part in liminality live :)

unfortunately, hikaru's not participating in the live so...

and did a damn good job on it. :sparkleguy: usually the girls' pronunciation is somewhat rough around the edges, but Kaori managed these lyrics just fine. :sohappy: :dote:

But to be honest, I wanna see that too. The FJ vocalists won't have much choice anyway if they're lined up to perform. If a great majority of the setlist songs are in English, then that's that. Maybe Keiko has been working towards achieving that New Year resolution of hers. :plot:

^Because your post give the feeling of "well,Keiko might ruin I Swear with her engrish skill" *sorry :XD: But I agree that Keiko's voice would really fits in I Swear.

But actually I didn't really hate Keiko's engrish skill *despite the fact that I loved her voice very much* :ohoho: because at least her cynical world and I Reach for the Sun is clear enough for me, and I can sing the lyrics without looking at CPM lyrics site first, compared to "the world" which is really unclear and when I looked at the lyrics site I've got the reaction of "She didn't even sing thaatt :omg:

And although Kaori's engrish got improvement, I agree with ninetales because I'm tired of her voice in almost every songs~

Oh yes, I keep forgetting about I Swear. If there's a DVD of this (and I certainly hope there will be!), it'll be interesting to see how Koichi-san reinterprets his solo.

And on that note (no pun intended) they'd better do E.G.O. too! I'll be waiting for the obligatory "KORENAGA KOICHI!" shout :gimmeh:
 
of all the girls, i think yuriko sings english songs clearly.and the outcome is clear.i also like wakana and kaori singing english songs.but i often don't understand the words unless i look up into the lyrics

LA live was included in "FictionJunction The Best of YK live 2008-2010", you know :uh..:
But maybe tomorrow is not. I would love to hear FJ girls sing that song too :XD: since I dislike the original vocalist so much so I didn't even remember her name

i know that right, and i want them to do it again.maybe tomorrow by emily curtis,i love her version.really :XD: FictionJunction's maybe tomorrow would be better though :shy:
 
i don't think yuki's only including songs from fiction and fiction II (am smelling that mezame's there for sure)
rest assured, yuriko's gonna do main in salva nos, canta per me, lullaby, and LA
and maybe she'll include sei otome too :)

But only the English part though. Voice and vocal performance-wise, I too agree that Keiko can very well do a lovely rendition of "I swear" regardless of her English skills. Who knows? Maybe she has improved her pronunciation by now? :shy:

I used to tired with Wakana's voice, but when I hear FJ specially The Best of YK live, I'm listening to Kaori in almost every songs.
And even in Kalafina, now I didn't *or haven't* tired of Wakana's voice because now when I listen to Kalafina songs, I'm listening to Hikaru.

I NEED MORE DOSE OF KEIKO AND YURIKO, actually. I can't get enough of their voice, but it's simply doesn't enough..
 
:omgz: :omgz: i forgot yuriko! yes, more yuriko lead please for this live! i also think march would suit her.
tbh, i'd rather hear a minimum of keiko-centric songs this live, period. i feel that her voice has changed over the years for the worse and i just can't take it in large doses.

plz no songs that have been performed many times already, like mezame or zodiacal sign. and preferably not anything from fiction/fiction II that has already been sung, but i wouldn't be surprised if there were some repeat songs and that's fine. i love it most when all four of them sing together and take turns with lead and harmonies, so something like heigen would be great :dote:
