Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#7 “FICTION”

getting nervous for the setlist.. >:D oh well... I REALLY HOPE FOR A NEW LIVE DVD!!!!!!!

We deserve a completely new DVD for once!!!!

let's hope there will BE one in the first place. :plz:
I'm all right with hearing the aforementioned songs again (classics are destined to be performed at every live, and you can't filter them out of the DVD unless you do a tour compilation instead of one concert). But I agree there are so many songs that SHOULD be sung live as well (besides, Yuki might just as well do a separate live with Eri Itoh or Yuri Kasahara :nosebleed: ).
Still, even if the tracklist evokes deja vu in some places, they may be performed with a new twist or a new cast. What if Vol.7 actually features Emily and she'll lend her voice to other tracks as well? Last time she performed Canta Per Me, it was full of win. :sohappy: (hmm, did this slang term stick to me this much? :XD: )

Emily in this show singing canta per me would be the best thing ever.

On that note, I'd love to hear Deb Lyons singing Canta Per Me, Fiction version :waii: Especially if they have the accordion in the arrangement and everything... :cheer:

That's fine. I know a lot of people don't

which makes me look pretty weird, because I almost liked it more than the original. :XD: *runs away*

Red Rose!!

+... wait, I'm not sure if there's a big enough number in existence... :nosebleed: :XD:
And in general, it would be great for Yuki to hire an orchestra, drag Tokyo Konsei into the fray and make a setlist of her best instrumental/choral classics. :nosebleed: :nosebleed: :nosebleed:

It's a nice touch. But does she really have enough songs to make a 2 hour setlist? Don't forget that orchestrated performances won't have a lot of emphasis on the MC like the "regular" ones. At most a brief two-liner from the concert master/conductor to introduce the piece and off they go. (Elaborate introductions would be in the information booklet handed out at the door.)

BTW, I think I have mentioned this before "Red Rose" is my textbook piece whenever I audition audio equipment. :dote:

PLENTY :sparkleguy:
And if they go about introducing everyone, MCs will last just as long. :ohoho:
But even if there are no MCs, the whole thing would be worth it. :shy:

I know this song isn't included in the Fiction album.. but I would really wanna see 'Voyagers' live >_<

Obviously not everyone gets introduced in an orchestral setting. Not even the section principals or first violinist.

*Tries to imagine the mega headache of a problem with miking up an orchestra...* :glasses:

Equipment rental costs would be rather prohibitive for YK, though....

I wanna see that too! :D the harmony's quite good :shy:

well, that's one of the reasons why orchestral concerts are far from abounding in a musician's career. On the other hand, that's usually where sponsors of all kinds come in. :plot:

Oh, I can just hear Catastrophe live... :imdead:

On that note, maybe this time I'll get to see Kajiura-sensei introducing Koichi-san and Jr-san and the rest... :leaf:

Me too! :waii: I love that song, and to hear Wakana singing it live... :shy:

^PROMISED PAIN :omg:
Seriously, a show with just M41+42 and Promised Pain would be enough for me. And I mean it.

and Limits

and since we're talking PH, Foretaste and The Release will also be great.
And Promised Pain! :nosebleed: How could I forget it, and a bunch of other Xenosaga tracks... :TdT:
Ah, maybe it's a good thing my Japanese is next to non-existent, or I'd be tempted to spam Yuki's radio show with requests for the instrumental live. :XD:
