surprisingly, zodiacal sign appraently. the only song from FICTION is there but with no mezame and salva nos :XD:

i'm quite surprised that hanamori no oka's been included.

blue clouds should have been grandpa's violin

・Before heigen was performed, Kajiura talked at length about Johan Sara Jr., the Finnish vocalist who provides vocals on the track. Sara was obviously unable to come for the live tonight but his recorded vocal was used as it is. Sara apparently said to Kajiura that he had recorded the track with the image of ‘Mother Earth’ in his mind. Recordings for Fiction II were completed in February 2011 and the complete album released towards the end of March – when Kajiura’s people contacted Sara to ask where they should send his recording fees, he declined and asked for the money be donated to the victims of the earthquake/tsunami instead.

so kind of him :dote:

^ i thought so too.i kept thinking about the good Samaritan: Johan Sara Jr. while i was on the elevator.

just let it be.i love blue clouds. :ohoho:
but i also want grandpa's violin and guess how much i love you

Paradise Regained

One more overlooked FJW track... :tea:

Also, why do they only perform instrumental songs when Rie is invited!?

Good question. Yuki has a lot of violin-driven instrumentals and more than a handful of piano- and guitar-driven ones.
Yuki has already done a concert with "Japanese seal". How about a "vocal seal" live? Bring together Konno, Akagi and Ayano Kasahara, drag Gil Goldstein and Jerry O'Sullivan from overseas and make a concert that will give Mike Oldfield a run for his money! :cheer:

9. It seems to me like Akagi-san played on Credens Justitiam, but nobody sang. At least, the singers aren't mentioned

:confu: :confu: :confu:

I favour Keiko over the others for a range of reasons. There’s the fact that just watching her move around on stage like an Energizer bunny

:XD:

LOL@Manbe-kun as well. :XD:

・I can’t quite remember what most of the other band members answered (doesn’t help that I don’t remember any of their names either), but it was pretty funny when Kajiura introduced the drummer and a guy in the crowd screamed back Kyo-sama(?)…and she then forced all the girls to shout instead, saying he’d probably feel better to have a bunch of girls screaming his name instead of guys. We complied but then…the bassist Junior got jealous and we had to shout his name too.

:TdT: :XD: :XD:

So that idea got canned. Kajiura instead recommends that people get the mug cup + fruit tea set instead – she apparently drinks the tea three times a day herself.

A high number of tea-drinking characters in her works is a pure coincidence, I think? :tea:

Basically, she knew every line and scene in Madoka Magica already but still ended up crying.

:touched:

・The two girls next to me looked as if they would die upon the first strains of Sis Puella magica!

:psst:

・The acoustics in NHK Hall really are amazing – such crisp, sweet sound.

envyyyyyyy~ The only serious drawback for the last year's Elton John live I went to was lame acoustics in Minsk Arena... which is supposed to be the best live stage here. :blood:

Thanks a lot for the review! I wish I was there myself (although I wouldn't understand a word from the MCs :desksweat: :XD: ).

but i also want grandpa's violin and guess how much i love you

Don't forget Dewdrops, Mai and other awesome ballads. Fast tracks like Dreamers or Evocation would also be great. :sohappy:

Re:

So, the main theme of kara no kyoukai (in the gardem of sinners + paradigm), this is better.
Ah, overtures :nosebleed: I forgot it... they're epic, like FJYUUKA's circus in live vol 4.

Blue Clouds for Mimiru (replacing the sax with flute), Kara no Kyoukai with Paradigm, Hanamori no Oka for Jr., and insert Paradise Regained somewhere on that list.
Wow, Mimiru would be a lol song to perform, a lot of lalala. And paradise regained (with that lovely flute!!) is a good song for the encore -as well as Historia ending theme wich was set in the middle of the vol5 list, ¬¬?-.

Look at that title! Is what I said a few weeks ago. For what anime composed Yuki Kajiura?

i forgot about dreamers, but i love that music.they should have included it . but blue clouds has flute in it too

i want yuki to do a live performance of pure instrumental osts someday :plz:

I misread something on top... But come to think of it, replacing the flute section with a sax (in Blue Clouds) might be an interesting avenue to explore.

At least texturally. :XD:

awesome!! i truly hope this was recorded for CD atleast. what a great set

Buh, the setlist is nowhere to happiness because it has another Kaori and Wakana's old songs. Parallel and Hanamori no Oka again.. It'll be better if they sing a different song
Well, I do want a DVD for this because I really want to see I Swear, eternal blue and the rakkyo medley. Oh, E.G.O and Heigen too. Why didn't Yuriko sing MLFCS~~~

they look so gorgeous!yeah thanks for the link el cazador more solo pics from FictionJunction mems
:ohoho:

rather than complaining about the set list, let us all keep in mind that they gave their efforts on this live.we can be grateful for that at least.reading selfish complains is a bit annoying.it's not that were better than yuki.it's too hypocrite whoever it may be
