Nothing about ~a new song she's not sure she can perform at ykl21~ in either.

Even me saying that ~she's hopeful that songs created at the new place would be at ykl21~ (specifically at ykl21) is probably an over-assumption/over-interpretation on my part based on that "1/60", lol. That's why I said it was an advert for ticket sales.

With that said,
Even if it is about a new song that already exists, I don't think it is suggesting any issues with performing it to speculate on. Even with this translation it reads like a regular "I am hopeful and looking forward to the future" mumbo jumbo. v( '')v

The results for the FJS lotteries are out. Now I have 100% of confirmation that I can finally meet Yuki Kajiura in person :dote:

I won tickets for these days, I wanted to see ASCA since I'm very much fan of her as well. She came to Brazil in 2023 and didn't sing any of Yuki songs lol I was so mad... And also wanted see JUNNA

A bit random, but I'm remembering that Yuriko has also done some low parts of songs and even Yuki. Part of me is amused at the idea of Yuki singing more after the lineup changes.
 
Kajiura regularly sings backing vocals (or pretends) in lives - I don't know why george mentioned those two as the "only" ones, lol.

She's singing (lipsyncing) the verses in stone cold constantly for an easier pick. (or zodiacal sign like you already mentioned.)

Like even though PARADE booklet does not mention her doing backing vocals at all, during lives she's doing the KOTONOHOKA YAWARAKAI bridge, as we figured from the studio recording. v( '')v

I was thinking about something during the week, how the background vocals (BGV) are used for these lives.

We have mostly been thinking about the composition and how the instrumental music is played, but aren't there rights issues for the BGVs too? Can a studio (SC) or non-Kajiura live producer use Yuriko, Eri, Hanae and all the others' BGV (in playback track form, in this case ) without their permission? I am thinking about how Kajiura has used these vocalists for her live shows, often doing the studio BGVs live with Yuriko and Joelle, and sometimes adding backing tracks.

I am also curious about how Kalafina performed their concerts for all those years using a lot of Yuriko's BGV on so many of their songs (lined up with Wakana or singing the higher vocal part above her, which was unavoidable unless in an acoustic version). Was Yuriko paid for all those times or getting nothing for that even though her own voice was being added in and used so much in different lives?

When a studio-released song is performed live in a new concert it is a new expression of the song, with the same or different singers.

Regarding with the rights to use the BGV, I think it's alright because it's her composition after all and the copyright of the composition belongs to her... So I don't think it would be an issue

a composition itself is a separate thing from an existing recording
