Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#21 - 60 Songs (July 26 - August 24, 2025)

Yesss another soundtrack special! Not too keen on a full choir after the HF live but im still eager to see how it goes.

If that’s the full vocalist line up, I gotta say I’m not too pleased to see LL and no Rito there. No keiko is sad but expected
 
I really don't know how to feel about the whole vocalists thing. XD. Kokia yeeeeeeehhhhh, ASCA idk - no big impression on her performances... CHOIR omg. Kinda weird situation with featuring Lino but no Rito, perhaps concerts like this are great chances for either of them to improve and train their voices/ techniques.
No Kasahara? No Eri Itoh? No Tomaru Hanae? >:( ? Maybe in the later-day lives... Crossing my fingers for a Kasahara ft Hanae night.

Lino is there probably because of her soundtracks with Kimetsu No Yaiba Mitsuri theme. Maybeeeee.
And Yuriko Kaida’s voice may not be needed much since the Choir is already present. A lot will happen. I am excited for the new singers to be honest.
 
Oh, that's true. Maybe she is also providing vocals for a future theme in the movies...
Talking about Kimetsu, who's gonna sing now the main theme of Kimetsu no Yaiba??? lol

I guess this is indirect confirmation that Keiko (and Hikaru) in FictionJunction is now history. While I'm sad to see this, it is of course not surprising at all. Rito's absence though is easily the most disappointing thing for me here, as I am a big fan of her performances at Kajifes.

Hopefully this doesn't mean, that she also left FJ permanently.:cry:

- 鈴木瑛美子 being the Guest for all regular lives is kinda giving regular alto test run feelings, but then also soundtrack special? I am curious. Also wonder if we get something original released before the tour happens.

Oh yeah that's possible as well since Eri has been guested secretly at the end of some soundtrack nights.

All of this just screams petty from Yuki's side. I've always thought of her putting her music first and foremost. Keiko leaving will be a huge loss as there simply isn't anyone who could come remotely to low harmonies. Kaori is the lead in like every FJ anisong and Rito is unfortunately not part of the line up. That Emiko Suzuki is so nasal and high-pitched that I doubt she'd be filling Keiko's shoes.

Maybe she's making Asca the new Keiko (she can emulate Keiko to a certain extent but Keiko has a warm and comforting quality to her voice, like a cello), but someone like Asca would be far too busy with her own live activities to be fully dedicated to a YKL tour.

Guess the era of fixed vocalists is over. Rip YKL 2008-2024.
 
I just noticed Emiko Suzuki is/was also on avex. Wouldn't it be funny if Keiko just wasn't available for this tour and she herself/her management recommended Emiko Suzuki?

oh nevermind.

Keiko supposedly posted something on her fanclub. She wanted to have both but it is what it is. Moving on.

I just noticed the YK Staff twitter account also unfollowed Keiko and Hikaru... like come on... they even follow Hyde, that was pretty much a one time thing... it's quite disappointing and I think it's directly Kajiura's decision.... Very disappointing, I will miss her deeply. Keiko's voice through 'Kaze no machi e' was what made fall in love with YK's music... she was pretty much the one keeping the shows alive...

While I understand she kinda betrayed Kajiura (we don't know what kind of contract's they signed to bring back Kalafina), YK has been long enough in the industry to know how these things work and she was not doing anything with Kalafina anymore...

I think it's quite inmature on her side. Sorry for the Off-topic but I needed to join the collective mourning :(
 
Try to be in Kajiura's shoes: You work 20 years with a girl and 15 years with the other one and you trust them and one day they decide to announce a reunion of the group you decided to disband without even telling you about it, and they work again with the people fron the other agency who caused you trouble (not refering to Wakana but the executives). How would you feel ?

Whoa, I'm pretty sure Kajiura did not disband Kalafina. SpaceCraft did not manage to keep it alive. Please correct me if there's other confirmed info.

It took almost 20 years for a new See-Saw song (15 for a live reunion). I sincerely hope for all yours sake that it doesn't take as long with Kajiura and Keiko.

I'm not over See-Saw either, I keep listening to the songs quite often, in hope they will release more... :(
