I think Emiko might be head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to charisma/stage presence...
Now whether that works in a YKL situation... I guess we'll see at some point how they all gel together. Hopefully sooner, rather than later.

In anticipation of the "stale setlist" arguing, I'm prepping a post with live setlists statistics again. (Though I limited myself to domestic concerts only this time, unlike in the thread I deleted last year.)
I don't know how to present it though... To be relatively readable and not have the forum explode from some character limit overflow.
Should I do it like last time? New songs per tour? Or maybe all alphabetically? What do you think?

You know what. Heck it. No matter how I try to do it, it's unreadable on the forum. Plus it would take like 6+ posts to get through songs from even just those domestic lives. Nevermind the nightmare of updating it later...
Whenever I get my mega back up, I'll just upload a htm with a complete alphabetical table...

This is so cute to see them all together! The unveiling of Emiko's parade at the junction of fiction.
I like her wavy hairdo and hope she rocks this hair and Joelle her YKL17 hairdo (or something similar). Yuriko's looking extra cute with the eyes too. LINO LEIA is reserved, and mama Kaori is showing her youthfulness.
Queen Yuki - the orchestrator - is just chilling behind all of them. Maximum comfortable/relaxed vibes from everyone.

I would say it's possible she even has more stage charisma/control than the majority of Kajiura's vocalists, except early Chiaki and LiSA, from what I saw of the SIX concerts - a quite theatrical show. She's also a belter and an energetic singer.
I mean, she's used to singing in a chorus context (including a cappella) so she's used to bringing down her soloistic energy for the sake of achieving a blend with others.
I am just excited especially for the 2-part harmonies and how she would sound against Joelle, Yuriko, Kaori, LL, one-on-one.

That was a cool pop video. She was stretching her genres.
Thing is, though, her voice is too rich/complex for pop. I mean she was singing in a low range and not breathy/light like in pop, so it was interesting. She definitely has the looks and has some dance moves too, but the vocal difference was at the back of my mind.

That's true. They can focus on vocals with piano accompaniment to smoothen the harmonies and blending, before reconnecting with the band, who might be having their own instrumental rehearsals separately.
Kajiura also gets to host the ladies, which I am sure she would enjoy doing. Girls morning in!

Oh, wow! A cappella FictionJunction would be beautiful. I like the way Kajiura says they are singing for her.

Kajiura, though being FictionJunction herself, may not do any video content like this (it's not her style to be out there on socials outside of Twitter), but it's good to see the interactions among the main vocalists, as I believe it strengthens the lore of friendship and unity that carries over onto the experience of watching them perform together on the lives. The same way the loads of Kalafina content strengthened the sense of togetherness of the ladies when they sang on stage, even though I know FJ is not primarily about the singers, but it helps the buzz and curiosity of the waiting fandom.
I personally enjoy how LINO LEIA, for her own personal social media, puts out bits of content frequently about what she's working on and does covers. It ensures that there isn't a long gap of silence (and as a consequence much speculation among fans) about what is happening with her career, and gives little bits of insights into her routines in the studio and also her personality, which enriches the viewership of her actual music. We don't need personal life pictures (they can keep that for their fan clubs or special events, if they think it's OK).
I mean, just imagine us getting a cappella shorts/reels from FJ singing one or two Kajiura songs in harmony in a relaxed manner. Lots of potential for engagement and discussion from that. Hearing their raw voices harmonize would be so cool. Or, pics of scores of songs on DAWs.
Kajiura does some photo content sometimes on her own page when working on new songs, but it seems like the FJ-specific pages are always relatively silent/inactive, except to post flyers for shows.

Kajiura is old generation now (she admits it herself on her 2 latest interviews) , even using twittter is a big step for her (my parent don't have any socials and they re a bit older than her). And you know the saying "you cant teach old dog new tricks"
