Call me a loser but I just discovered that this was released on video

I am madly in love with "open your heart". "Kotonohoka" was also epic.

"Parade" is a personal favorite of mine, and they absolutely killed it with this performance. I have to say since they're so sedentary with this song already, I would love them each on a glimmering pedestal with the spotlight above them....

That's a good question.

I think they can definitely perform those songs them with her. I think she'll be willing to have them sing it, though not sure if they would want to do it.

There's still an audience that enjoyed the YKL covers even without Wakana being on stage, though with the recent developments Kajiura might now receive more calls to no longer perform Kalafina songs without Wakana, since Kalafina itself will be active shortly.

Thankfully for LINO LEIA, she doesn't need to be subjected to the "Fake Kalafina" claims any longer - those were directed at Kajiura I suspect for having the gall to bill "Kalafina" for a performance without Wakana. Did Kajiura bring LINO in with an intention to have her actually "replace" Wakana on stage for "Kalafina"-billed music performances outside of YKL, just like for the FST anniversary live?

I am sorry if I wasn't clear.

I put "Kalafina" in quotes so I assumed it was understood they were there in spirit if not in name. I shouldn't have said "billed Kalafina", since they weren't called that for the performance - in fact they were named individually after the performance by the MC.

The fact it wasn't a larger contingent of singers (4, 5 or even just Keiko and Hikaru), and rather it was specifically a 3-person vocal with only LINO LEIA being there in place of Wakana, to sing a song during the anniversary for an anime that was performed by Kalafina, was a wink to Kalafina fans in my opinion (and Kajiura hinted she had been looking for a way to bring them back or something like that, in her tweet).

That's what I meant. The presentation was a wink to the fans, but it also made it more clear that there was a missing person (Wakana).

If Kajiura came with full FJ to do the cover, would there have been as many complaints, maybe of there being too many singers? Anyway, they were presented as individual performers, not as being "Kalafina" or under Kajiura's brand.
