“storytelling” is literally the ONLY FJ song where YURIKO KAIDA is lead vocal in the chorus. And I don’t count “himitsu” and “here we stand in the morning dew” because they’re technically FictionJunction YURIKO KAIDA (right?).

It’s hard for me to believe that “elemental” the album was released almost 5-6 years ago, yet hearing that “storytelling” is being performed feels so fresh to me.

Me being a hater: I hate storytelling though. elemental and storytelling are both disappointment. elemental was just too long and kajiura crammed everything to that song (the song has what, 3 bridges?) and I only began to appreciate storytelling a little bit after the live version. The best part is literally the last stanza "in summer rain, kikoete kuru... telling the only story", the rest is still eh imo

Question for those who attend the live: who mained maybe tomorrow? Is it still Keiko or do they change it to Joelle?

Joelle was the main vocalist in "I reach for the sun" 06.28...
They sang "Maybe tomorrow" in Nagoya?

Joelle is also main in maybe tomorrow. Keiko keep the line “I still believe tomorrow come what may”

I’m glad Wakana isn’t in “I reach for the sun”. Man, was that annoying to listen to.

But excuse me— KEIKO is the reason I fell in love with that song (sorry Emily). I still remember the first time I heard her deliver the first few lines of the verses. Damn. What a shame :(

they gave all the solo lines to Joelle too in I reach for the sun? and here i thought she's just replacing Wakana's parts. shame about maybe tomorrow, Keiko had the warmest tone there, definitely will not gonna like her version as much as I like Keiko's. at least we have live vol.9 video and live vol.8 audio. don't tell me Joelle mained I swear and fake wings too because if that's the case i'm gonna riot :(

In vol 14, Joelle got Delete, and Kaori got Longing. The audience really love Kaori on that song. There were fewer main vocalists in vol 14, so it's quite understandable. (IIRC, Asuka didn't take many leads. She mostly sang for chorus.)
