There is a wrongly sung syllabe at 01:16, but overall its great !!! :dote: :dote: :dote: :sohappy:
If you mean my "eyaa", my rebuttal is: "Keiko sings that in the live"

Just listened and I like it! Although the violin is so soft. heh Great job everyone. Can't wait to read Yuki's comments too. :sohappy:

Stop with the sarcasm! GIRL BE REAL!

Not complaning/criticizing here, but I think the voices(including mine) at the 'aruki' part in 'Bokura wa ima tooi michi wo aruki hajimeteru' doesn't really start at the same time.
(Or is it just my reta*ded singing, failing to follow the beat?)
But the strange thing is that though the timing of 'aruki' wasn't good, the timing of the voices singing 'Kimi no me ni utsuutteru~Hitori ni wa shinai kara' is OK and the voices are singing at the exactly same time.

+

Around 03:27~29, did the piano make a mistake or is the timing of the voice wrong? The voice and piano at the start of 'Kimi no tame ni~' doesn't start at the same time.

Except for these mistakes in mixing the voices, I hear nothing really critical.

------------------------------------------------------------------

I appreciate everyone for their hard work, especially palawa-san, who mixed all the voices & instruments.
I also appreciate those who got up their courage to sing, though they didn't have confidence in it.

@Mint Truffles: Okay, the song might be not perfect. But we aren't vocalists, nor are we music producers. We are only fans of Yuki Kajiura. What matters is that we did all this effort to give a birthday present to Yuki.

Butthurt over a little criticism? Save it for someone who gives a damn.

:XD: I do agree with HIS MASK about the whole dissonance between voices. My lines were WAAAAY early by the english bridge and by "Te wo totte futari de kanaderuuuu" my harmonies were WAAAAY to early. This seems to happen to me when I use audition too, but I dont knwo why!

HIS MASK, Kajiura Yuki is an international celebrity. I think what we need is actually hardcore truth-be-told so we don't make her :imdead: . Although everyone gave it their best shot, the finish product is quite subpar. I'm sorry. I'm even including MYSELF into this. So Mint Truffles was just trying to tell Jessica to keep things real for the good of CPMe's reputation to Kajiura Yuki. Although it's the thought that counts, quality is also viewed upon greatly in this society.

.....Well, I hope so, but the hopes aren't high.

No offense, but do you mean we should hold auditions before selecting the vocals next time? :confu:

Well, you know what?
I don't care about what you write.
You're the person who should save words for someone who cares. And save insults only for your own type, please.

I didn't imply any of such. My point is that since we're making an appeal to Yuki Kajiura, we should at least give it our best and send out our top work, instead of a first or second draft. Criticism is key to a good final product. By flattering others, we are only holding them back from doing their best.

Keeping things real wouldn't kill everyone. I'm not denying the fact that people didn't give it their best, and neither does Mint! But how do you expect people to grow if you don't tell them the matter of fact?

That's why I wrote this:

- Even if the tempo and the tone are perfect there will be another problem which is the synchronization:

My meaning is that if you sings one word a bit earlier and then compensate with another word you sing a bit later to compensate and respect the tempo (which can sounds good), it won't fit with the other CPMers who sings with you if he/she doesn't sing one word earlier then one later, and it won't sounds good I'm afraid.

That's a bit more complicated, in this part, I couldn't sync the piano and drums part, because, when i did it, a very few seconds later, the piano changes the tempo and that sounded worse.

I wanted to give anyone a chance to participate even if they never sang before, keep in mind that we are not professional at all, we live so far from each other and most of us just has a very bad webcam microphone and THAT was the difficulty of this project.

So what should I do?

Re: Yuki Kajiura Birthday Project 2010[Recording deadline Au

Hi Guys!
Just listened to the last version, it sounds amazing! Congrats :dote: :dote: So proud of you all! Well done Palawa!

Re:

@palawa: Oops...sorry, I didn't read the post carefullly :uh..:
And about the fourth quote, I was asking for Kizuato-san to clarify what she/he was saying.
Sorry;;; I hope you didn't get offended;;;

@Kizuato: Please pardon me for the part you quoted in P. S.. Come to think of it, it was unpolite of me to write that.
