so far this is my most favorite Kalafina song all time.
 
Akino - Nike 15 Sai

Never connected to Yoko Kanno's soundtracks quite as much as some others, but I love her pop songs compositions.
 
^I am pretty sure that is one of the only ones I like by her, it's a good song. I will have to listen to it again now.

闇の彼方まで-Aika Yoshioka She is just so awesome, I want a new album by her.
 
^I also enjoyed most of the other Kanno-composed Akino songs, in particular Sousei no Aquarion, Pride ~ Nageki no Tabi, and Eve no Danpen. For other Kanno songs I like, there's Mai Yamane's Real Folk Blues, Maaya Sakamoto's Hemisphere, and May'n's Northern Cross.

Hmm, full version of that Aika Yoshioka song sounds a lot better than the short version I heard. Though my favourites are still Maikaze and Izayoi Namida.

Fun fact: Aika Yoshioka actually covered Akino's Sousei no Aquarion.

^Reeeally? I am going to have to check that out first thing tomorrow morning now... about Aika. That is awesome! (Gah I need more by her, I want more for my workout mix heh) I do love those songs you mentioned too.
 
^Yeah, she covered "Sousei no Aquarion" as part of her anisong cover album "Pallet." It's actually a pretty good cover.

I listened to so many good Yuki songs today. But I think it's a tie between obbligato-Kalafina and People are People-Kajiura. Just love those two.
