Kazumasa Oda's "Tashikana Koto" The lyrics really grab my heart. The matching of Hikky's voice and Oda-san's voice is the best!! I've been listening to it every day lately. #HikaruUtada

Lovely duet.

I didn't want to necrobump any threads, but

If you ever feel like listening to Kalafina's "into the world", "Marchen" or "Hyakkaryouran", consider trying the hirez All Time Best versions for those 3 specific tracks. They sound so much better than the respective hirez single masters IMHO, "into the world" and "Marchen" are also not overcompressed to shit.

I don't know why Chinone is so hit or miss with his mastering.

(I can't speak on how they are on CD.)

It seems like today is Sawano's birthday. His channel is streaming songs from his catalog.

I am really a fan of her clear voice and her deep musicality, and storytelling gift, through music.

Skipped through mostly to the songs. I didn't know that FBM were the musicians for all the live performances, irrespective of artist (LiSA was also on there for "Oath Sign").

Obsessing over the refrain. Chata sounds so good in it.

Also, it's been ages since I listened to Rekka but I remember always being under the impression that she deepens her voice for effect so this lighter performance is pretty surprising.

Nier Orchestra Concert 12018 and Nier Theatrical Orchestra 12020 (for the last one, always so weird to watch this one when you know how and when was performed this concert and the expected link with the story of Nier at this moment). To be ready to see the Nier Concert 12026 this sunday :)

This is beautiful. Haruka for the compositional win as always. I love her folksy fantasy writing.

I Have A Dream (Kalafina)

Watched Time of Eve for the first time last night, and I loved it. As a result, I listened to this song for the hundredth time, and I loved it even more haha.

Chiaki Ishikawa - TW live (and I was at that performance on 29 August 2013):

Actually I was listening to the original studio version but, while looking for a link, I ended up doing the live too, lul...

This is going to maybe sound like a backhanded compliment but I really love the last minute of the song after the piano instrumental (in the studio version in particular, 'cause it's lighter and has more audible backing vocals).
