What age were you when you started listening to Kajiura?

Whenever .hack//sign arrived to the states so if that was 2002 then i guess I was 12. I loved obession but it wasn't a song I had to hear everyday...I found Utada Hikaru's Simple and Clean absolutely addicting..it almost felt like I needed to have the song to live :shy:

Anywayz, then I kinda forgot about Yuki..I didn't really care to learn more about her music till kalafina :sohappy:

Now its love for Kalafina :nosebleed:
 
I think it was after I watched Noir, since my friend lent it to me when that came out, so I was 16. it feels longer than that, since I love her music so much. heh :shy:

Wow, some members here started really, really young! :dote:

My first contact with Kajiura was the first episode of Tsubasa Chronicles. After the first minute I was starting to ask myself who the composer was, such was the impact... I think I was 19 at the time.

But only recently I started paying more attention to her and I'm slowly but steadily starting to devour her works, courtesy of vampire princess Lyhs. :innocent:
 
i was 15 when my friend shared "Salva nos" and "Canta per me" with me. i liked those songs so much that i decided to watch NOIR and then downloaded the soundtrack. i found out that the music was very much to my liking and then listened to a number of Yuki's works

but i became kinda Kajiura-addicted only this spring after the release of the LIVE vol.2

i was 17/18»? O_O oh gosh im not sure but yeah bout that T___T so its bene like 6/7 years in Kajiuran blisss T_T_ im getting old :uh..: :omgwtf:
 
Lets see it was like a year after madlax came out in america loved the music watched noir loved the music so i decided to look up the artist found out she did .hack loved the music but didn't like the series back then @_@ 13 maybe o.o or 12

I'm currently 14 and going to be 15 this 2010..
so..
I started to listen when I was 11, I think.. :)
 
I was 14 when I heard of Yuki.

But I did not have an idea that some of the of the music that I have been listening to when I was 11 was Yuki's works. (pertaining to canta-per-me)

It was at the age of 15 when I dream of becoming Yuki.
How I wish that such dreams would come true.
 
I was 14 when I watched "My-HiME" the first time. The soundtrack was so amazing, especially Mezame and Duran Shoukan :sohappy:

Man, you guys really ARE so young! Hmm, I think it was 2 years ago for me, and I'm 34 now. Late bloomer, I know, lol. My friend, who's so obsessed about all things Mai-Hime, prodded me to watch an episode. And then... awoooo! Duran Shoukan! :hearts: It was love at first hear, hehe. As the show went on, I just kept falling in love with the music more and more, especially Ensei and its various incarnations (including Mezame). I desperately tried to find the translation for the lyrics, but kept getting frustrated because all I kept finding at the time was I now know as Kajiurago, haha.

Somewhere I found out that Yuuka Nanri, who played Nao in Mai-Hime and Mai-Otome (I especially liked her character in the latter), also sings for FJY, so I looked that up.

I think I found out about FJ because I was trying to find out who sang Ensei/Mezame on youtube! I actually thought Wakana and Keiko were the ones who sang for the soundtrack, haha, and was wowed by that, but THEN all the girls sang Mezame and I was just FLOORED! So from there I also found Kalafina. Then I found this site, hehe. This site rocks! You guys, too. :idol:
 
Let's see...This would have been around 2002 because the first song was Akatsuki no Kuruma from Gundam Seed...so I was 14 or 15...I can't remember.

I don't know a better composer. Ok...maybe I'm exaggerating but you get the idea.

I Kind of remembered listening to Kajiura's songs when Hack.//Sign aired in 2002 I think. My first song was Yasashii Yoake and I absolutely loved it which made me look up her name and thus, showing me more amazing songs from her. 8/9 years ago? Wow! I was around 9 or 10.
 
I think I was 16 or something around that age (maybe 15) =P
First song I've heard was "Fake Wings" from .hack/ series and from the FICTION album. Simply love it! <3
 
First heard of her music somewhere around 11 or 12y/o,when I first watched Gundam Seed (1st episode,where the violin began when Kira was jumping into Strike if memory serves) and heard anna ni issho datta no ni on the local tv channel.But that would be the only music I've heard from her until silly-go-round from .hack//root in 2008.Even so I did not know Yuki Kajiura until listening to her works from Tsubasa Chronicles last year.
 
12 or 13, I didn't even know my first japanese song i learned was from Yuki-san :omg: until like about 2years ago.
