Waiting for Kalafina 2nd album, Red Moon

Theres a piano! @_@ I love it but as always samples never do justice : O

I just noticed that the sample of Red Moon sounds disjointed for a reason...
I mean, it's not the actual start of the song, a part in the middle was "cut", you can hear the difference in the sound, it suddenly changes for no reason.
I'm sure the instrumental part at the start is much longer, and Wakana enters much later.

I really doubt they would put a 42 second sample together like that. Just don't see the point in it.

And, not to be a jackass, I said the same after Hikari no Senritsu live @ ANISON

the edit of the song they played was just WTF (lol @ the cut in the middle).

and it turned out to be exactly the same way in the full version, lol.

What I'm trying to say is that with Kajiuras recent track record for disjointed songs I wouldn't be surprised if this was exactly the way red moon turns out...

Well, it didn't only sound disjointed, the volume goes up suddenly at some point, you don't have to be a professional to hear that...
I'm 95% sure it is cut :uh..:
And there is actually a point... if the "intro" of the song is very long, and they wanted to use the start of the song, they would have to cut it in some point, so that Wakana's voice is in the sample too.

This sample we got is already incredibly lame as a "sample". IMHO if they cared they would've/could've used a different part of the song (like they have in the past).

No reason to argue, really, we'll hear in a week. :)

Well, yes, as a sample it is lame indeed. Just like the covers :uh..:
Yeees, can't wait for that week to pass :dote:

If the song is good (and I expect as much), I won't mind disjointed structure at all. "Disjointedness" only contributed to Hikari no Senritsu, imho. Of course, it's a matter of personal taste as well. I guess if I had a problem with disjointed songs, I wouldn't start listening to Ali Project. :XD:

:dote:
ONE WEEK! Aaaaaaaaah the wait for Kajiura-sama's musical genius is killing me! If only Kanon Wakeshima and Yousei Teikoku came out with singles as often as her, I'd have something to distract myself with during the wait.

:anger:

Just to be an asshole I just skipped through Poison and I didn't notice any disjointedness. They are all far better composed than Kajiura's recent body of work.

Kyrie! Kanon Wakeshima is TAKING TOO LONG to release her new single/album. I too, wish she could release as many songs as Kalafina is. Ugh, I'm feeling quite impatient right now.

Jessica, a rushed album is NEVER a good thing. So I don't mind if Kanon doesn't release new material as often as Kalafina does... as long as the music is good ;)

Might I add, my favorite non-Japanese band (which I'm a huge fan of for almost 10 years now) is releasing a new album next month, and it's been 4 YEARS since the last one, so... :omg: :uh..:

Which band :confu:

Rhapsody (of Fire), they're a symphonic/neoclassical metal band from Italy. :dote:

All their songs are based upon the same fantasy story (same concept as Sound Horizon, except it's the same characters all the time) and it's just been 4 years without knowing what's happening to the characters :omg: and the new song is awesome so I'm really longing for April 30th now :knife:

okay, enough off topic xD

I wonder if I can pre-order Red Moon on YesAsia :confu: I noticed some people pre-ordering receive new albums the very day of the release, which kinda confuse me when they live in the US for instance xD Well, I assume the stores get the albums BEFORE the release but how much time before, that's the question...

EDIT: I just checked on their site, they have the DVD version! I want it so bad! :plz:

Ehh I guess, but I still wish she would just update, I mean it's been almost a year since she released something. her music is really wonderful, I truly want to hear new stuff from her. For example her "Toumei no kagi" sounds like it's a winner and they said it would be released sometime on September of last year. It never happened. But you're right, I shall be patient...

Is Kanon your favorite artist? :D I understand you, because she only has one album so far and I want new songs from her too. But I prefer to wait a little more and get a good album in the end, than something rushed that would disappoint me. Besides, her new pic made me curious, she looks so different I can only wonder if that means changes in the music too... (like more electro maybe, or electric guitar, who knows... xD)

Yes, besides Kalafin, FictionJunction and Miss Kajiura, Kanon is my favorite as well. Her Cello skills have amazed me to the deepest ends. Since I am a violinist, I do admire her for playing a string instrument. Her new pics is sort of Okay, I guess. She reminds me so much of Lady Gaga for some reason. Her gothic/Classical music is much lovely, but then again, it won't hurt to hear a new side of her. Hopefully she won't stop playing her cello during her recordings. The cello is what makes me like her songs so much And because Mana is a great gothic composer. Arrrgh, I could go on and make a 5 page essay about this.

Violin is awesome as well! Strings are one of the main reasons of why I love symphonic metal so much. They sound epic and romantic at the same time. And I do love classical music, as well. ^__^

When I first saw that pic I thought of Lady GaGa as well... it's the make-up! :idol: I think the outfit is weird overall, I prefer her "regular" style, but I'm okay with it. I love her first album as well but as you say some change won't hurt, so let's just wait and see... about the cello, it's what makes her so unique in the world of Japanese music so I really hope she never leaves that.
