Kajiura Yuki (Piano)
Kajiura Yuki is a versatile music composer who writes lyrics and composes and arranges music.
In 1993, she debuted as the composer and keyboardist of Japanese pop band See-Saw. In 2002, Anna ni Issho Datta no ni, the ending theme song of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED, became a hit.
At present, she creates music mainly for anime. She has worked on numerous popular titles, such as Sword Art Online, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
Kajiura entirely produced the vocal unit Kalafina. The unit released five albums and two greatest hits albums, all of which reached the top 10 on the music charts, making the group's name known worldwide. In 2020, she composed the music and wrote the lyrics for Homura (co-written and performed by LiSA), the theme song of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train the Movie.
The song won the grand prize at the 62nd Japan Record Awards.
The following year, she won the Best Music Award, along with Shiina Go, at the 44th Japan Academy Awards. Besides anime, she has made music for programs such as the film Achilles and the Tortoise, directed by and featuring Takeshi Kitano (Beat Takeshi), the NHK historical documentary series Rekishi Hiwa Historia, and the TV drama Hanako and Anne, among others.
In 2023, which marked her 30th debut anniversary, she released PARADE from her project FictionJunction, her first album in nine years. She also held "Kaji Fes.2023," her first two-day concert at Nippon Budokan commemorating the 30th anniversary at "Yuki Kajiura LIVE," a unique concert mixing film music and vocals that has been held globally since 2008.
KAORI (Vocal)
KAORI joined FictionJunction, the solo project of composer Kajiura Yuki, beginning with the TV anime Tsubasa CHRoNiCLE, and has since built a career as a vocalist through a variety of projects. In 2007, KAORI made her solo debut with Brilliant World. She has since sung and written lyrics for numerous game and anime theme songs, earning a devoted following both in Japan and abroad.
Her experimental all-covers concert series Place of Echoes and the 2025 Kaori Oda Live ~Singing~ have both been praised for their one-of-a-kind performances and exceptional vocals.
In March 2026, KAORI held Kaori Oda 19th Anniversary Live with a new EP, Free, her first new release in six years, building momentum toward her 20th solo debut anniversary.
YURIKO KAIDA (Vocal)
A graduate of Kunitachi College of Music's vocal department, YURIKO KAIDA is a vocalist for FictionJunction, the solo project of composer Kajiura Yuki. KAIDA has contributed to concerts and recordings for a wide range of artists, including Kalafina, ayumi hamasaki, and Yuki Koyanagi.
As a singer, KAIDA has lent vocals to numerous anime and game titles, including the opening and ending themes of VS KNIGHT LAMUNE & 40 FRESH, the ending of Medabots Spirits (also as composer), indelible illusion and Rikugou Rinne for Fate/Grand Order, and the insert song for the film The Concierge at Hokkyoku Department Store. KAIDA has also contributed lyrics to THE IDOLM@STER series, including Me ga Au Toki, Tonari ni..., and Koikaze.
In June 2018, KAIDA released the compilation PORTA under the name Kaida Yuriko, followed by Casser la porte, Porta Rinata, and Tokoshie ni. Last year, KAIDA performed Link, THIS ILLUSION, and Yume no Owari at the Fate/stay night 20th Anniversary Concert Finale. KAIDA is also active as a vocal trainer for voice actors and singers, including Uesaka Sumire, and recently took on the same role with the three-piece band This is LAST.
Joelle (Vocal)
Brought up in both Japanese and American cultures, Joelle developed an interest in a wide range of music from an early age. While in high school, she studied voice and began to sing to her own guitar and piano accompaniment, deciding to pursue a career in music. After graduating, she enrolled in the Vocal Department of the Yamaha Music Academy, becoming the first scholarship student in the school's history.
In 2002, a video of her singing caught the attention of Gary Baker, a producer known for his work with Backstreet Boys. She traveled alone to the United States to produce original tracks, three of which were included on her 2006 debut mini-album Lucky Maria. The title track later became the theme song for Trick: The Movie 2.
Since 2010, she has participated in projects such as Sound Horizon/Linked Horizon and appeared on NHK programs. Her expressive voice has been featured in numerous commercial songs, as well as insert songs for games including FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 and GOD EATER 3.
She has performed a cappella renditions of the national anthems of five countries at international women's basketball events. Since 2018, she has been performing as a vocalist for FictionJunction, the solo project of composer Kajiura Yuki, participating in tours not only across Japan but also overseas.
She was named "Joelle" after Billy Joel, her father's favorite artist.
LINO LEIA (Vocal)
LINO LEIA is a singer-songwriter who creates across multiple mediums, from songwriting to video production.
In 2014, through the Kiss FM KOBE program segment LINO LEIA Project ~What If a College Student Artist Were to Make a Major Debut~, LINO LEIA achieved a nationwide CD debut, and continues to serve as a radio personality in the Kansai region on Kiss FM KOBE and BAN-BAN Radio (community FM).
In 2022, LINO LEIA was tapped as a singer for the Kajiura Yuki/FictionJunction project, joining tours across Japan and overseas. In 2025, as FictionJunction feat. LINO LEIA, the theme song lighthouse for the mobile game Puella Magi Madoka Magica Magia Exedra drew widespread attention.
Meanwhile, her solo activities have ramped up in earnest since 2024. With an exotic voice hailed as one of a kind and a distinctive sound influenced by world music, LINO LEIA continues to win support both in Japan and abroad.
EMIKO (Vocal)
EMIKO first drew attention while still in high school with an appearance in a KOIKE-YA potato chips TV commercial in 2017, and was tapped to perform Front Memory, the theme song for the film After the Rain, garnering widespread attention even before making her major-label debut in August 2019. Releases include kIng, the ending theme for the TV anime KINGDOM, and Kanaria no uta, written, composed, and produced by Angela Aki. Acclaimed for her exceptional vocal ability and expressiveness, EMIKO is also active in the world of musical theater.
YUUKA (Vocal)
In 2001, YUUKA made her voice acting debut as Bubbles in the TV series The Powerpuff Girls, and went on to appear in numerous titles. In 2003, YUUKA was tapped as a vocalist for FictionJunction, the solo project of composer Kajiura Yuki, performing Akatsuki no Kuruma, an insert song for the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
In 2009, YUUKA launched a solo music career under the name Nanri Yuuka. While pursuing an active career as a recording artist, YUUKA has also continued to take on voice acting roles in numerous productions, including Mukae Ritsuko in the TV anime Kids on the Slope and Sawatari Sayuri in Shinkai Makoto's The Place Promised in Our Early Days. YUUKA's vocal ability and distinctly clear voice continue to be highly acclaimed.
Korenaga Koichi (Guitar)
After extensive early performing experience, Korenaga joined REBECCA for recording and touring around 1984 and remains an active member of the band to this day. For a period, Korenaga formed BABY'S BREATH with bassist Takahashi and drummer Odawara, broadening his scope of musical exploration.
As a producer and arranger, Korenaga has worked across a wide spectrum of genres, from J-pop to rock to anime soundtracks, with credits on high-profile singles including OLIVIA's Dress me up, J-FRIENDS' Ashita ga Kikoeru, Saruganseki's My Revolution, and Kuroyume's Pistol, as well as composing original soundtracks for anime series such as Bubblegum Crisis, The Legend of Black Heaven(Kacho-Oji), and Love Hina, and more recently SHOW-YA's album Mugen.
As a guitarist, Korenaga has recorded with T.M.Revolution, ayumi hamasaki, Fukuyama Masaharu, Shizuka Kudo, MAX, and TRF, and has performed live with Junko Yagami, ASKA, Misato Watanabe, Amii Ozaki, Matsui Tsunematsu, and Takashi Utsunomiya.
Sato Kyoichi (Drums)
Sato Kyoichi was born in 1962 in Oita Prefecture, Kyushu. After studying under Aoyama Jun, he became a support drummer known for work with Tatsuro Yamashita, MISIA, and others, and began a professional drumming career through band activities with guitarist Korenaga Koichi. Since then, Sato has performed live and recorded across a wide range of genres and artists.
Sato has worked with Kajiura Yuki since her debut with See-Saw in 1993, performing in her live shows and in the many musical works she has produced over the years.
Takahashi Jr. Tomoharu (Bass)
Born in Italy in 1968, Takahashi is a bassist who made his major-label debut with The ROCKS in 1990. Since then, Takahashi has been an active session player, performing on recordings and at live shows for The GIRL U NEED, Ulfuls, GIBIER du MARI, See-Saw, and many others. He is currently a member of the Billiken Brothers, Miyake Shinji & the spoonful, The Red Rocks, JUNGA POP, and jungapop mamango.
In 2013, JUNGA POP released their fourth album, Honkey Zill. In 2014, Miyake Shinji BAND released the album SLAVE on Universe Records. In 2019, Takahashi released an album with the spoonful, followed by a debut solo album, Kore Kara, in the same year. In 2020, the Billiken Brothers released Trippin' Orchestra on Teichiku Records. Takahashi continues to tour nationwide with various bands and work on new albums, and is currently working on a second solo album.
Nakajima Obawo (Percussion)
Born on September 3, 1960 in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Nakajima took up percussion at age 19 and joined REBECCA as a support member for recording and touring in 1986. Since then, Nakajima has performed with Toshinobu Kubota & MOTHER EARTH, Kondo Fusanosuke & JIGOT'S, the George Duke Band, MAMBABOO, the Sadao Watanabe Group, and PRISM Homecoming, among others. Nakajima has also supported tours and live performances for artists including Toshiki Kadomatsu, Yumi Matsutoya, Yamazaki Masayoshi, and SUGA SHIKAO, and continues to be active in studio work and live sessions.
Konno Hitoshi (Violin)
Konno took up violin at age five. While still a student at Tokyo College of Music, Konno was already actively performing on stage and in studio sessions, going on to perform on the music for numerous films, dramas, and commercials, including ROOKIES, Hanako and Anne, Your Lie in April, Chihayafuru, and Doctor-X:Surgeon Michiko Daimon.
Konno has also earned high praise for contributing strings to tracks by a wide range of artists, including LiSA, Aimer, King & Prince, SEKAI NO OWARI, Ikimonogakari, JUJU, GLAY, and Nogizaka46. From performing the theme for TBS's Hiruobi! to appearing on music programs such as MUSIC FAIR, FNS Music Festival, and SONGS, and working as an arranger and sound producer, Konno's career extends well beyond the boundaries of a traditional violinist.
Watanabe Shiori (Violin)
Watanabe is active as a studio musician and support player across a wide range of projects, contributing to anime and game soundtracks, including Sword Art Online: Alicization and Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story. Watanabe has also performed on recordings and at live shows for artists such as LiSA and Erika Ikuta.
Kobayashi Tomohiro (Viola)
Originally from Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, Kobayashi began playing the violin at age five. After completing both undergraduate and graduate studies at Nagasaki University's Faculty of Education (Arts and Culture course), Kobayashi switched to viola at age 23 and went on to perform as a guest with major orchestras across Japan, including the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra.
Now based in Tokyo, Kobayashi works as a studio musician, contributing to recordings and live performances for prominent artists from Japan and abroad, such as King Gnu, KREVA, and Vaundy. Kobayashi is also an active member of the string ensemble Ishida Gumi. Since 2024, Kobayashi has organized the "Kobayashi Tomohiro and Friends: Film Music Concert" series in Fukuoka, promoting regional culture through music.
Nishikata Masateru (Cello)
Born in 1989 in Chiba Prefecture, Nishikata took up the cello at age ten. A graduate of Tokyo University of the Arts, he won first place at the 9th VIVAHALL Cello Competition and has placed highly in numerous other competitions. With over 500 studio sessions a year, Nishikata's credits include the anime Oshi no Ko, NHK taiga dramas The 13 Lords of the Shogun, Dear Radiance, and Brothers in Arms, and the cello performance in the theatrical film THE FIRST SLAM DUNK.
Nishikata is also active as a trumpeter and runs a YouTube channel with over 90,000 subscribers.
LiSA (Special Guest)
Originally from Gifu Prefecture, LiSA has performed theme songs for numerous hit anime series, including Fate/Zero, Sword Art Online, The Irregular at Magic High School, and the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series, achieving massive success both in Japan and internationally.
On Spotify, LiSA ranked No. 1 as the "Most-Streamed Japanese Artist Overseas" in 2020, with Gurenge also reaching No. 1 as the "Most-Streamed Song by a Japanese Artist Overseas" the same year. LiSA became the first Japanese artist to reach 3 million monthly listeners on the platform. As of 2024, Gurenge has surpassed 700 million streams, Homura 400 million, and crossing field 200 million.
By September 2021, LiSA's total downloads reached approximately 6.4 million domestically and 13.5 million worldwide, while total streams reached approximately 1.8 billion in Japan and 3 billion globally.
In 2022, she became only the fourth Japanese artist in Spotify history to surpass 1 billion streams.
In January 2025, LiSA performed ReawakeR (feat. Felix of Stray Kids), the opening theme for the TV anime Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-. The music video, featuring a collaboration with Felix, generated enormous buzz, topping Billboard JAPAN's Global Japan Songs chart for eight consecutive weeks and surpassing 100 million streams worldwide.
In June, LiSA held her first-ever North American headline tour, ANOTHER GREAT DAY North America Headline Shows 2025, drawing an audience of 20,000. In July, she released Shine in the Cruel Night (Zankoku na Yoru ni Kagayake), the theme song for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Infinity Castle - Akaza Returns. The song dominated charts across the board, reaching No. 1 on the Oricon Weekly Digital Single ranking (as of July 30), marking her eighth career chart-topping digital single, setting a new all-time record among female artists.
As her 15th solo debut anniversary year begins in April 2026, LiSA has her seventh full album, LACE UP, along with a domestic arena tour, an Asia tour, and numerous other projects in the works.
With electrifying live performances and a positive message, LiSA continues to break new records and make an ever-growing impact.
