Now its time for Pandora Hearts

I was amazed by the amount of unreleased stuff, almost all are alternated version of released tracks, and in every episode there were 2-3 of them. For some tracks they never used the OST version, so it makes me wonder if they were like that originally and changed them just for the soundtrack. I also I cant find the bagpipe track and the off-vocal Reveal that I remember Kazado menthioning , does anyone know where they are ?

In the list the numbers are the part of episode where the tracks appear and not duration. I wrote down all tracks that I found so some are dublicates as you can see. I will start ripping them now :)

Numbers are where the track starts and not how much durates.

ep 1 - Crush additional strings 9:34
ep 1 - Crush additional strings 11:40
ep 2 - unreleased organ bgm (not sure if its Yuki's) 08:24

ep 7 - Preparation instrumental 04:22
ep 8 - Pandora hearts expanded, off-sax 07:58
ep 8 - Alone flute ver 17:10
ep 9 - Crush no strings/guitar ver (only flute & keyboard) 05:30
ep 9 - new bgm 13:09 - 13:29

I was amazed by the amount of unreleased stuff, almost all are alternated version of released track.

Going by the filenames (can't be arsed with PH), I don't see what's so amazing here. Assuming they are the same recordings and only have muted parts compared to the CD versions, I wouldn't consider these "unreleased".

^ Well yes, but dont you have stuff like that in your elcazador and madlax rips too ?

Foretaste of ep 14 does have a totally new part (1 minute). the last Alone is new too. fast melodie is unreleased as well. Oh Bloody rabbit also has a piano bridge

do you want me to upload those 5 ?

I don't remember my El Cazador rips at this point (from what I remember many of the Cazador tracks were actually different recordings on CD), but in MADLAX I only included the alternate edits (as I called the versions with muted instruments) for the guide's completeness sake - I certainly wasn't "amazed" by how many of them were there (it's only natural that a composer would give that option to the music director), and that was what I was commenting on in your post. :P

Oh I get it now. Well that post was before I record them so I was kinda hyped, and so that's why I wrote it like that :)

Actually if someone still has my El Cazador OST+ rips I'd appreciate a reupload cause I can't find them anywhere on my discs, lol.

^ I do :)

I also have rishi's rips of the Hokuto no Ken OVAs (Toki den, Zero den)

Concerning the alternate edits dont you think that its kinda strange that since Yuki moved to Sony, the shows stopped having them but they instead use the osts as they are ? Is that lazy work from the studio's side or something else ?

btw here you go

Thankies. Yea, about this Cazador rip, I guess I included whatever I managed to get without SFX (and then partial instrumentals just because :p).

I think it's up to the sound director. Hanako to Anne has several alternate edits and it's an NHK production with an entirely different director.

I have just listened to PH unreleased.

Limits instrumental takes the first prize from me. I love the original anyway and this is a bonus. To be honest, as I'll probably mention in the old music thread, Pandora Hearts is not one my fav osts but I love Limits. Alone flute ver and instrumental are also good.

Do you mind answering my question above ? I am curious of your opinion :)

Well, I'm not really following her shows anymore, but I'm pretty sure Madoka had an instrumental/acappella sis puella and wat said there were alternates like that in Hanako to Anne so... Sound Director.

Also if by some chance a track was with an actual orchestra recorded together it's also (depending how it was recorded close to) impossible to mute instruments so... :P

As promised, Episode 3 of Tokyo Revelations, surprisingly, all 3 episodes had 11 BGMs :ayashii:
George1234-san: I'm sorry, I'm not understanding what you are trying to say in this post. I watched the OVAs too and I loved the music.
I posted these questions elsewhere as well. If you don't mind, could you tell me about the following.
1. Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations (OVA) ep. 1 -the music at the end of first episode starts at around 21.00
2. Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations (OVA) ep. 3 -the music starts at 18.04
3. Tsubasa Shunraiki ep. 1 at around 20.10- Fai says “hurry he’s going to die” in the scene when he’s talking to Princess Tomoyo
Also, the Pandora Hearts OST, who does the vocals? In "A shadow" for example, who is the lady singing?
Thanks once again.

One of my favorite things about Kajiura's music is hearing it in its proper context and thinking about how well it contributes to the scene, but sometimes when I'm listening to a soundtrack I forget which songs went with which scene, so this is kind of cool! Thanks for the hard work
