I recommend Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria It's a video game. Awesome gameplay but its only played on PS2. TriAce and Square Enix have this nice tandem when they create a game.

I like all Tri-Ace games. :dote:
Did you know these guys were once a big part of the team behind Tales of Phantasia?

^ I'm happy to see a Tri-Ace fan too. REALLY?! I never played it yet but in Radiant Mythology other characters of Phantasia are there too. Its a good game. I also like Radiata Stories by Tri-Ace too. Have you played it? :dote:

Radiant Historia is a DS game made by Atlus (with the involvement of the folks behind Shin Megami Tensei and Etrian Odyssey :sparkleguy: ). Radiata Stories is a PS2 game by Tri-Ace. Unfortunately I haven't played it yet, but I hope to get a PS2 someday.

Once, it was one studio Wolfteam. They made a few interesting games like Arcus Odyssey, Aisle Lord, Time Gal and Hiouden, and their last project was "Tale Phantasia" which they made a deal with Namco to publish. Namco, however, did a lot of executive meddling with the game, changing the title, character designs, some story parts and reassigning staffs. Some of the developers were displeased with how their original view of the game was ruined, and eventually left towards Enix to create Tri-Ace studio. The rest of the team decided not to abandon the franchise and concentrated on producing more games, while being promptly renamed to Namco Tales Studio.
Tri-Ace's first game, Star Ocean, was also for SNES and has a lot in common with Tales of Phantasia. It's a marvelous JRPG, rivaling Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 5/6 in my book. :nosebleed: I also played its sequel a bit and liked it as much. Not to mention Valkyrie Profile... :dote:
I've seen a number of reviews for Resonance of Fate and I want to play it badly. :wai:

You sure do know a lot :sohappy: We tried playing Star Ocean but for us its kinda hard, idk. :XD: buy PS2! So that you could play it too :sohappy: What other games do you know that Tri-Ace developed?

Not many. Aside from their two most known franchises... Resonance of Fate, Infinite Undiscovery and Radiata Stories...
although there's always Pikiwedia. :sparkleguy: :XD: And it enlights on their freshest projects: Frontier Gate, Beyond the Labyritnh (oddly, it's published by Konami rather than Square Enix) and... wait, Final Fantasy XIII-2? :fwa:

PS2 isn't too problematic to save for, but there's rarely an unoccupied TV for me to use it with. :XD:

Ohmygosh! :omg: I never thought that there is a Tri-Ace connected to the game Final Fantasy XIII-2 :XD: I will wait for it xD That's why others say that their part 2 is great than the first. Let's just wait and play.

Ohh... i see ;)) For the sake of playing Tri-Ace games, buy it! :plot:

It'll be not only for the sake of tri-Ace games. I'm eager to ply Xenosaga (although mainly for Yuki's music and KOS-MOS) as well as FFX/X-2/XII, Dragon Quest VIII, and there's a number of delicious NIS games like Disgaea to consider.
It's just that for now, I'm leaning towards saving for portable platforms like PSP (Dissidia, Crisis Core, Valkyrie Chronicles sequel and the upcoming MadoMagi game!) and 3DS. :plot:
Then again, a PS2 would be cheaper... Hmm, does anyone know if it's possible to connect it to the PC's display? :XD:

As to FFXIII... I did think that their new battle system looks closer to tri-Ace and Namco Tales Studio games... And now look at this. :XD: Maybe Final Fantasy is on its way to becoming a semi-action-RPG with real time battles, like Star Ocean and Tales? :psst: :sohappy:
