Even if nobody posts, it's just basic protocol for a site like this to have something along these lines, and yet I never saw it.

We have a site section for this. It's been neglected for quite a while (bash me and me only ), but there's a whole list waiting to be added, and I hope to clean it up now that I've got a fortnight's worth of [relative] vacation. You can also leave your suggestions in that thread.

As to the forum, its big part called "Otakuland" is dedicated to promoting and discussing the stuff you like.

When I read the word "fandom", I always have a very negative image on my mind. Anyway...
You could create a topic about whatever you intend to discuss in the Otakuland section. Just bear in mind that not every topic is as vivid as Madoka's (right Nick? lol)

I don't know what forums you visit, but "fandom" just describes people who like a show enough to read fanfiction or find fanart or even just visit a community occasionally to talk about it.〜

It's the same with musical artists; everyone in this forum would could as being in Kajiura's bandom.

i did have this fandom thing with inuyasha back when i was still in elementary... am always searching for smexy fanarts...

then there's DNAngel... read some lemony fanfictions only.

started playing gba game Fire Emblem and got Lyn Hector ending... I wanted moar lemons and found myself some wonderful smexy fanarts around the net...

Guys, I don't quite get what you're discussing here...
We have a page for recommendations themselves (although it's limited to music artists) and a forum for introducing and advertizing. I'm not sure how "listing a circle of fellow fans to discuss the work among" would work otherwise, since doing it in PMs is hardly more convenient than in a forum, and once a forum thread is made, you can see who's interested by the number and content of replies.
On the other hand, even if we have, say, a page reading "Akiko Shikata, liked by the following list of CPMers", it won't guarantee that all these listed people will regularly visit and update the topic. There are other things to do both IRL and at the forum, after all.
Although concerning the site page... Maybe it's possible to implement a "Like" button akin to the Facebook one, beside each entry? Sudrien must know better if it can be done, but if it can and may help your situation somewhat, then why not?
And if you simply want an sticky index thread with links to all fandom-based topic here in Otakuland... Well, I guess that can be done too. I'm not sure how useful that will be to you, but I'll give it a try.
