Wow a Hanae ver must be interesting ! But it ll sound more like knk3 M24 than something vocally agressive like the original.

Until Kajiura retires i suppose ?

Even if Jr feels too old at some point she can find a new basist.

I've always projected a Materialise live would be full of vibratos and extreme breath-holding segments. I know Hanae sings classical music, but I haven't seen other variations of Hanae showing different techniques in a song, aside from Mezame (heavy vibratos at the end) or Inverse Operation (along with the girls) (the latter is more of subdue one as she recorded this song a few years ago?). If Hanae is to lead the song, I'm guessing Yuriko will be taking over Wakana's part? xd I'm waiting.

6 discs, apparently all CDs. No mention of bluray (at least yet). Hmm. :/

Seems like a lot of discs, unless they want to keep the discs short and separate for what we know exists for every Otome project. :/

Guessing they might be keeping the original soundtrack CDs as is, instead of reshuffling tracks to fit them on two discs...? We'll see...
 
in the translation says "6 CD set" so makes a BD impossible unless they make it a separate release. Also says it has limited quantities of the product (?)

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the TV anime broadcast, a CD-BOX featuring re-recorded versions of theme songs, insert songs, background music, and character songs will be released on Wednesday, 18th March 2026!

This will be the first time the TV-size versions of the theme songs are included. It will also feature the theme song from the PS2 game “Mai-Otome: Otome Butai Shi!!”, as well as theme songs and background music from the OVAs “Mai-Otome Zwei” and “Mai-Otome 0 ~S.ifr~”.

Furthermore, the jacket features a newly drawn illustration by character designer Hirokazu Hisayuki.

Purchaser bonus details have also been revealed. Those purchasing at participating stores will receive a bonus item.

How about Sato Kyoichi? Can he keep drumming to Kajiura's faster songs for the next 10 years?
 
What is good about Kajiura is that she is a composer and arranger. Despite having the different musicians, the quality of her songs in the future will still be really good. Same as how she has done music with Kalafina. I believe Kajiura will still be around in industry for more years to come 😊
