Magic Knight RayEarth (2026) music will be composed by Yuki Kajiura, Takumi Ozawa and Shiho Terada

Hmm. From the music page on official site
Code:
<div class="music_tabs">
 <button class="tab">第1クール</button>
 <!-- <button class="tab no">第2クール</button>
 <button class="tab no">サウンドトラック</button> -->
</div>

This could mean everything and nothing, so I don't know why I'm posting even, lol. Seemingly standalone soundtrack(s) coming at some point... unless they change their minds.

I'm a little occupied these days, so I don't think I'll be updating the sorting folder until Sundays.

Ep5 was another episode I did not enjoy. Think I'll only be skipping through it starting next week.

At least they played Joelle's PV track... but, even though it feels like it, I hope it's not the entirety of it, lol... not much to it...

Crunchyroll uploaded on Youtube the whole first episode, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zL3ZY2cTsl0 it has option of many audio tracks, including japanese
I watched the first episode and felt that the lack of music really sabotaged the emotional feel of the episode to me. I didn't make any real connection to any of the characters, even though the villains were more memorably drawn than the heroes as it often seems.

Episode 2 on Crunchyroll's Youtube, i remind it has option for japanese audio https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lzncql2NAYY
I enjoyed the episode compared to the first because of the addition of music and the action from the main character "Hikaru" - red color scheme.

The new character "Presea" introduced at 17:00 has a really lovely soprano-laugh, so I'm curious about the voice actress, if she sings. I was taken aback when I heard her laugh and sound so clear up there.

No I've heard it performed in some anime as a kind of silly charaacter laugh. But hers was just so on point. Some of the ones in the video you sent are a bit more pushed but I think the second one sounded more "classical" as the top notes were clean. That's what I was referring to.

I asked Gemini and it said, "In the 2026 Magic Knight Rayearth remake, the master weaponsmith Presea is voiced by the popular veteran voice actress and singer Emiri Katō (加藤 英美里)"

Award-Winning Anime Hits: She was one of the lead vocalists for the legendary, chart-topping Lucky Star opening theme "Motteke! Sailor Fuku" (as her character Kagami Hiiragi), which won the Best Singing Award at the 2nd Seiyu Awards

Anyway my point has been made, she's a singer.

Updated the sorting folder.

From old files I renamed, hopefully it's not a snafu.
027->006 but it might be 011... either way, it wouldn't be a separate new one. ;p
017->013
040->035

Suggestions welcome, if anyone notices anything. I still don't like how quiet the music is most of the time compared to dialogue and obnoxiuosly loud sound effects.
