hmm... so the slow strings from the beginning of 2nd pv seem like they are YK...?
The BGM for Presea (or Mokona) was great, presumably Terada's.
Do we think that last "legendary battle" BGM was YK? But who would be the vocalizing snippet at the end? Still Kaon?

It feels like there's more music in this episode, which is good, but every scene with the 3 heroines alone is still full of silence...

I think the OST will be fine... but I'm kinda not getting much from the show. I'm not that familiar with Rayearth but I wish I was getting more wonder/magic from the atmosphere/music/direction.

So it's the same sound director as SAO? I had a feeling. I also get what you're saying about the music. But when there is music it's good. New themes are good.
 
No, it's not the same sound director as SAO. Iwanami did SAO and ERASED (and all ufotable; with studio director Hikaru Kondo at times, I guess).

Per ANN, Rayearth's sound director is Shūhei Abe.

Not the largest body of work as sound director as of now. Seems to be only slowly starting in this decade...

And for me personally, Rayearth clearly isn't exactly winning me over. So far.

In my feelings it's Sailor Moon Cystal all over again. Although to be fair to Rayearth, I am not as familiar with it as I am with Sailor Moon, so I'm talking very surface level. ^_^

From what I noticed online a lot of people seem to be very happy after episode 1 of Rayearth... v( '')v Maybe I'm not looking in all the places though. XD
 
^ Was mokona also not talking in human speech in the first anime adaption as well ? Cause i remember very well that in Tsubasa she did speak.
I really like Kajiura's villain bgm, and Ozawa's too that plays during fire girl's attack.
 
If anyone wants to join in on the sorting, be my guest... Just grouping tracks together, I wasn't editing anything yet (except the event theme).

The m000 are two that were in PVs but I didn't group with any BGM in episodes yet.
edit: I noticed I forgot the track from trailer3 (OP&ED reveal)... I'm guessing it's maybe 010 but I'll think about it the next time I'm sorting...

I kind of got tired of focusing on music under all the voices&sfx and gave up...

I wouldn't be surprised if maybe these end up as single tracks, but I ended up leaving them as is. At least until we get more appearances or I come back to it fresh another day...

However im not much studied into ozawa (except ookami) or terada music, i can only tell which tracks arent kajiura but not sure which isnt terada but its ozawa unless she has vocals in too.
