Keiko's solo debut (after 2020)

Is it me or does Keiko not mesh with the flowers? It couldn't have been actually shot in front of the flowers right? Seems like a pisspoor photoshop job.

The new profile picture is cute. Much better than the one from earlier this year to my eyes.

I agree with @grunty on the not meshing well, it seems the flowers could’ve just been a backdrop... zero interaction with background identifiable.

It was indeed taken in front of the flowers.

I'm still not convinced. It looks weird.
To add to that, in tokuten samples (which appear to be the same session) there's nothing resembling those flowers. Granted they are faded pictures so I could be wrong, w.

I guess it doesn't matter since the background still looks off to me regardless of how the photos were taken.

Hope everyone who gets it enjoys the album.

Well, she looks pretty. That's about it for this song and video.

Hope everyone enjoys the album.

PS. 720p only? But even with that it looks 480p or less.

Everything in the MV looks over-exposed, melody still reminds me of Chiba Saeko song and the beat doesnt match with the song, i d go with piano ac guitar and violin. And yes she looks beautiful 😊

I’m really really digging the 90s vibe of this song, from the synths to the reverb to the vocals.

The way she sang “kokoro ni umareta shinryoku no tane ga” with her cutesy voice was so fitting IMO. For once I think I’m all right with it...

agreed once again on the claim that this is a recycled Saeko Chiba song 😂

the MV looks more like a glorified photoshoot than an MV to me. Like where wasshe going with that suitcase? Why does she have bunches of flowers?

:blood:
I’ve said this before.
And I don’t know how popular my opinion is . . . .

But the hair is a no for me, and I pray that she is open to growing those bangs back.

Is this JUST an accentuation to the “new me” feeling that surely will come with a solo career? Or is she actually starting hair loss? Because it’s just NOT a good idea for me.

I’m so disappointed to have been that distracted because from my own auditory observation, that was a pretty damn respectable live performance.

Lantana is out in Japan and on streaming sites. Akane Acoustic isn’t on Streaming apparently so in total it’ll be about 43 minutes long. I’m probably gonna wait ’til tomorrow to review and listen to it (since technically it’s not out yet for me on Spotify) but it’s been released.

Anyone think it's interesting how both Hikaru and Keiko release albums ("Lantana", "blooming") about flowers, and both their lives have "咲" in them?
