But I have to say something: last year on my yt shorts there were some videos of M-LINE-Club (the one club with older members of Hello Project and there was Maasa Sudou and Kaoris haircut reminded me of Maasas haircut in those videos)

He’s her accompanist, playing instruments to support her singing.

I suspect it was an acoustic live, so he’s probably playing the roles of a Gaku Ninomiya for Joelle. Saving cost overall since it’s a small, fairly intimate setting for her birthday live.

She’s going to have a proper live later in the year, so she can have a full band for that.

Ι think the dislike part shouldnt be included at least not in this way, maybe "how she can improve?"

1) In 2005 after listening to dream scape and tsubasa from TRC soundtrack by Yuki Kajiura.
2) I like her voice her english pronounciation and that she is tall. I also like her songs with Sound Horizon and "calling" and the wild arms songs.
3) She can promote her solo works more effectively.
4) Dream Scape
5) not sure.
6-7) most of her solo works are lacking the something more that would make them re-listenable.
8) As member of FJ and in the past of SH
9-10) Not yet, sadly.

1)I became Fan of her during 2013 when i waschen Youtube Videos of yuki
2) i like her versatility and that she seems to be a Nixe person
3) i think there are better songs in her album than the singles she Promoted (i mean they are nice but they are lacking something)
4) Overall hanamori no oka as solist Savannah no hayate
5) i think i am not Fond of the slower Ballade

1) Probably from the FictionJunction CLUB LIVE at Zepp Tokyo in early 2013.
2) musically, being able to work well with others and solos in Yuki Kajiura and others' works (e.g. Wild Arms, Gunslinger Stratos 2, Sound Horizon, Otomate games, appearances on Anipara Music Hall, also Another Union)
3) The (thankfully few) times that she wasn't at her best for a performance (e.g. one streaming live that sounded like a rehearsal).
4) Dreamscape will always be one of the best. milestone with Kahori Asoh from Wild Arms (milestone album and disc 2 of Flowers CD limited edition) starts gentle then just after 2:30 it goes full-tilt.
5) nothing on Kaori Oda's albums or her recordings on other albums makes me hit skip but I'm not really a fan of "eternal" with SHOJI.
6) and 7) haven't really thought of a most and least favourite album, should re-listen to the earlier albums.
8) Yuki Kajiura brings out some of Kaori Oda's best, but others have brought out other great performances from Kaori Oda.
9) a towel from the 1st September 2013 evening solo live at morph tokyo.
10) Besides the 1st September 2013 at morph tokyo, mini live at Tower Records Kawasaki on 12 August 2017, acoustic live evening of 18th February 2023 near Osaka and evening of 23 February 2023 dinner show in Tokyo.

🤔 🤔 🤔

  1. I first became a fan of her when I watched her sing "Fake Wings" in YKL2 backed up by Yuriko. If I recall correctly, it was the first time I ever saw her sing in English. This was before I watched the entire live. I had also never seen her SH footage before then. The way she sang the song technically and enunciated the English (I understood almost everything), her pose/poise and really feeling the song even made the lyrics carry weight. I still prefer her version, even to Joelle's.
  2. Where do I start? She's unique, just her general vibe. She's very pretty, and very confident on stage. Great figure. She often engages the camera with some smoldering looks (giving something extra to display on the large live screens and also for the future non-live audience). Her playfulness and comic instincts.
  3. Not dislike (I don't know her personally), just a bummer. She hasn't seemed to be able to take full advantage of her potential (unique among the entire regular FJ lineup, in my opinion).
  4. "Miezaru no Ude" from Sound Horizon, because it was an extended song with multiple sections and genres, that explored much of her vocal range, more than any other song I believe.
  5. I can't say, since I am a more recent fan.
  6. Same as 5.
  7. Same as 6.
  8. I have heard her say that she really enjoys singing in a group setting with harmony (I believe all the main singers are probably similar in this). It's been a part of her major debut with SH. I prefer her
