Is that weird? ...Snakes are cute, especially when you hold them. :dote:

I've never encountered snakes. I'm not afraid of them at all*, but I've never had the chance to be face-to-face with one.

*not like I'm afraid of spiders :leaf:

Wakana talked for half an hour straight about sharks and how great they are, and everyone was only pretending to listen :XD:

Sounds like me when I talk about the musicians :XD:

Oh, sorry, I wasn't specific enough about Hikaru and "stuffed butterflies". I believe Hikaru likes fake butterflies, but she doesn't enjoy real ones.

Oh, I see... :ayashii:

Maybe she doesn't like real butterflies because she doesn't like them flying unpredictably around her head. I always find myself ducking when flying things are around, even harmless butterflies.

Pontianak said:
Completely understandable! Any variety of bug is disgusting and should be exterminated upon coming within 5m of my person.

I understand completely :plot:

I held one! Did you know that it's a misconception that snakes feel slimy or wet? Their scales are actually very dry, but they do feel very cool to the touch, probably because they're reptiles and they're cold-blooded--

...I'll stop before I start. :uh..:

*not like I'm afraid of spiders :leaf:

Who isn't? They're gross. And useless.

Crane flies are the worst? Do you get crane flies where you are? There're crane flies everywhere over here in Summer; it's awful. They look like spiders with wings, and just fly awkwardly into your face when you least realize it, and you don't even notice they're there because they're so silent, and they move very fast.

:omg:

I can talk even longer about demons and urban legends.

Just adding: Though, the thing I can undoubtedly talk about the most is history. Any kind of history. If history were a person, I'd marry them immediately.

Re:

I've petted a snake. The sensation is quite interesting. :ayashii: Yes, not slimy or wet, but very muscular and dry.

Since Wakana's really talkative, she probably brings up the shark topic more frequently than people prefer. Sorry, Wakana :XD:

Oh, I STILL didn't clarify enough about butterflies. By "stuffed" I meant those big fake toys :XD: A literally stuffed butterfly is :hide:

I dislike spiders' appearances, but I like the job they do. I like ladybugs and roly-polies too. *sets mosquitoes on Pontianak and ninetales*

We should probably get back on-topic ASAP. Or include on-topic thoughts with our off-topic ones. :XD:

Especially the black ones that can run about a hundred miles an hour and don't seem to eat any bugs or do anything useful. Other than scare you when they practically run across your pillow. :blood:

Yeah, I don't like spiders :XD:

:omg:

Well, I do encounter these things that look like large mosquitoes every now and again. (They bounce off the windows a lot.) But I've never found out what they are. Do crane flies have really long legs or are they smaller? :confu:

Wow, this is off-topic :uh..:

Um...well, does anyone have a link to the pictures of Kaori writing in French?

I think Keiko was pressing the F chord? :XD:

Wish we could ask Yuriko about that, since i'm more interested in their educational background too

I've petted a snake. The sensation is quite interesting. :ayashii: Yes, not slimy or wet, but very muscular and dry.

That's because--

The more you learn! As long as she doesn't repeat herself, it's fine.

Ahah, again, I apologize for my sarcasm~

*sets mosquitoes on Pontianak and ninetales*

I have negative feelings towards this sentiment. Entomophobia is a crippling affliction! :ohoho:

I love ladybugs :shy:

I hate all bugs. But I hate ladybugs the least.

Especially the black ones that can run about a hundred miles an hour and don't seem to eat any bugs or do anything useful. Other than scare you when they practically run across your pillow. :blood:

Thankfully, my cat enjoys eating them. ...For some reason.

Well, I do encounter these things that look like large mosquitoes every now and again. (They bounce off the windows a lot.) But I've never found out what they are. Do crane flies have really long legs or are they smaller? :confu:

Yes! They have extremely long legs but very thin bodies.

We should probably get back on-topic ASAP. Or include on-topic thoughts with our off-topic ones. :XD:

That's true.

Ahh... Then... I admire the adherance to education that the vocalists seem to have. I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't want to continue education while working so hard on their musical career, especially when they're popular enough to live on the proceedings.

Strange...mine does too. They must taste like chicken :ohoho:

Ah, so those are crane flies, then. Thanks for informing me!

Actually, I kind of can't stand them. They're very weird :uh..:

Good point. I agree :goodjob:

I'm going to go look for those pics of Kaori writing French :sparkleguy:

^ :ohoho:

Well, nothing yet. Why no image list?? :uh..:

But I did find these, which I've never seen before...

:shy:

EDIT

I can't find anything

Unless it's not this blog? Did Kaori have another blog somewhere else?? :confu:

i might be wrong but i remember Wakana graduated not so long ago from University, she was the only kalafina with formal musical training. I think the topic was discussed when we knew about their ages and Maya's school issues.

btw Wakana, Keiko and Kaori have been part of Spacecraft for a long time, so i believe they should be trained in some way by participating in Stage Musicals and stuff like that.

:omgz: It wasn't DEAD, if that's what you're implying. :white:
Did I use the wrong adjective?

About the stuffed butterflies business (haha, that sounds so weird), it's fine. I realized I wasn't specific enough anyway. Someone else might have come along and taken it the wrong way. XD

Yeah, those are Kaori's graduation photos! She and her outfit look so pretty! I wanted to share them when they were posted but I forgot. :punched:

Kaori had another blog, but she moved to the one that she uses now a while ago. I don't know the old blog's link, and I don't know if it was shut down. Maybe we can wait for Yuki88 to come along and ask her to show us where she found those pictures.

It seems hard to focus on anything else while pursuing a music career. In one of Kaori's blog posts, she was giving some serious thought to quitting school because she was just too busy with everything. Which makes her graduation even sweeter for her. :dote:

Can you link where you read it?

Just be thankful Wakana-さん's probably never EVER gonna see this... :ohoho:

she used to have a blog hosted on yaplog (her address was kaori-mack4 iirc) but it's already shut down and eradicated too :blood:
lemme search first, too many photos from her old blog :desksweat:

There you are, the French-related photos:

source please? I'd like to know more details.

they did participate in several Space Craft's events during 2004-2005 iirc. You can see wakana's list here and Keiko's, as well as Kaori's should be there, too.

@AYYX: Haha, don't get me wrong, I think Wakana's awesome for being so passionate about what she loves. But I don't think anyone around her really understands her affinity for sharks and dinosaurs. :XD: I like sharks too, I would happily discuss with her.

@Yuk88: Thanks! Wow, that's a lot of materials and writing in the first photo. :ayashii: I hope we'll find out for sure what she studied someday. :sohappy:

:omgz: It wasn't DEAD, if that's what you're implying. :white:
Did I use the wrong adjective?

No, I was going to explain why the body felt so muscly.... But I just realized I shouldn't talk too much about snakes. I figured with the way people view Wakana's shark love, it'd be boring for people to read it if they're not particularly interested;;

:uh..:

But I don't think anyone around her really understands her affinity for sharks and dinosaurs.

They're awesome and impressive, dinosaurs especially, but sharks as well. Why not be obsessed with them? I hear they (sharks) have nine rows of teeth. :ayashii:

It seems hard to focus on anything else while pursuing a music career. In one of Kaori's blog posts, she was giving some serious thought to quitting school because she was just too busy with everything. Which makes her graduation even sweeter for her. :dote:

Yes! I admire her perseverance.

Nope, don't worry...... was kinda' teasin' ya', actually... :ohoho:
Everyone's gotta' like somethin', no? :dote:
Was kinda' into dinos meself in me much younger years... won't mind granting her a one-man audience on prehistory, neither. :XD:

^That Spacecraft link does mentioned Kaori, noted she performed (or so I think) "Love Addict" originally by Mika Nakajima. Also Yuuki of Sound Horizon was mentioned too. You can see some old advert with Kaori/Wakana/Keiko on it :O

^ There was actually Itou Ayaka (ex-Itokubo with Keiko back then), too.
