Kalafina to perform at Lisani! Live 5 day 2 - 25/01/2015

the light effects/preparations at Nippon Budokan was superb! Tssss.... I hoped they aired Ongaku+heavenly blue instead of those, orz.
 
This is with live band right ? The echo of the instruments is terrible and they get mixed together in an unpleasant combination. :notlistening:The girls performed very well though :)
 
Awesome performance! I like Mirai and Believe a little more after watching. Dresses was looking beautiful. And these lightings...

That heavenly blue live was awesome, much better than even the Animelo Summer 2014 version. Wakana finally knows how to properly enunciate "tada bokura wa koi wo shite" in the first chorus. All three girls were really feeling the song this live. (And Keiko's pointing to the audience during "tada dare mo ga koi wo shite" in the last chorus was unintentionally funny XD)

Now if only someone could rip the video. :ayashii: My usual video flash extractor software plugin whatever isn't working for Tudou. :TdT:
 
@Insidia did they broadcast the entire Kala setlist this time? Or just believe-HB-mirai?

I have to agree that I really enjoyed this HB performance. Kinda agree that it might be better than Animelo's, though since I listened to the Lisani one only once this morning I'd need to listen again before making any concrete argument

DAMN. It took some time to handle it but now HB seems to be extremely on point. I have to say that Wakana's voice is lovely, seems softer than the 'siren' usual we're used to lately. Hikaru is on fire, a pure burst of energy but still great control over her vocals while Keiko sounds good as usual. Also great stage presence and the general atmosphere is that of pure enjoyment, both on the girls' side and the audience's. This is becoming one of my favourites lives :love: And I'm not too fond of HB.

As usual I have an entirely different opinion on HB. imo the Anisama one is far more superior than this one because :
- I don't know it's the mixing problem or the video isn't ripped properly or smth but I can barely hear the band's sound. From what I can hear the drumming is weak as expected. The Anisama drummer totally rocked HB and ttb and tbh I'm not sure if FBM/Satou will be able to do it on the same level. The guitar is delicious, though (because it's the only instrument I can hear properly)
- Wakana sounded really tired. I can't even bring myself to listen to it until the end because Wakana sang it as if she couldn't wait for the song to end. Can't really blame her, their setlist this year was so heavy on Wakana. believe-snow falling-oblivious not to mention maybe they danced around in Ongaku thank you. The same goes to Mirai, though Mirai is way uglier in this live. Hikaru sounded ugly, Wakana sounded tired, even Keiko wasn't as enjoyable as before.
 
@ritardando I didn't think wakana was that bad but I did think she noticeably worse in this performance. As you said, it was probably exhaustion. Looking at the girls during the video, only wakana is drenched in sweat. The other two don't even look tired tbh.

I have no words for mirai. That song will always be the worst thing Kajiura has ever written for Kalafina.
 
Wakana did seem tired, but I honestly don't mind, because her vocals for this version are softer and generally seem more controlled than the Anisama live. Perhaps unintentionally, but hey, it's still pretty dang good, and I hate heavenly blue, so they have to be doing something right.

Also to note is that the FB video link sounds noticeably more distorted than the one uploaded on the Chinese sites after playing them side-by-side.

Wow, very very very good permormance of Heavenly Blue :w00t:! Wakana was great, yes, her voice sounds softer and more natural. I wonder how version of HB in Budokan looked....
 
Urgh Mirai, urgh. I personally enjoyed this version of HB compared to the Anisama version. Wakana did a good job!
 
Hmm, guess I'll check this out later despite not liking HB, all this positive response even from others who don't like it is tempting me.

Mirai can go away though, right piece of garbage there.
