And it does remind me of Lillium from Elfen Lied. It's an okay song, I may have to get used to it.
I'm not really hearing the similarity to Lilium in dolce. The similarities between Lilium and Sapphire on the other hand are pretty significant. Some of the vocal melodies in Sapphire are almost identical to Lilium.
I agree with you about the similarity between Lilium and Sapphire, but I think that melody line in the hook of Sapphire is also similar to in the hook of Dolce. But when I compare that line in Dolce and Lilium, it doesn't sound that similar...but still...I think both of them share some similarity with Sapphire..lol.

dolce - Love it. It gives off a mysterious feeling...I imagine that everything is dark and misty, but still you can see a faint light in the distance. I just wish it were longer.
Your description sounds so nice.. I love it but I have quite different image in my mind..lol. Dolce for me isn't dark, but it's misty but bright.. Like..it's a foggy morning that you can't see anything clearly. Everything is just blur and pale behind the misty atmosphere..., but still beautiful and mysterious...>.<...
When listened to the sample, Alleluia sounds very generic-J-pop-like...O_O. Doesn't sound much like Kalafina's songs or even Yuki's songs... but Keiko's line make me think of Sprinter in some way.. There is some part that really similar to Seiya as well. And I like Keiko's part in the full version. Not that I like her singing style in this song... my favourite Keiko's singing style is still an aggressive&powerful singing style like in Houseki, Ongaku, etc. But I love Keiko in this song more than in most of her ballads...
Love Hikaru in this song and I like Wakana's parts the least because I feel that it's the most generic-J-pop part of the song. Is it only me who feel that Yuriko's Kajiurago sounds so piercing in some parts...O_O? (For example, around 2.00 and when she's backup for Wakana's line.) But the combination of Keiko+Hikaru&Yuriko before the end is so gorgeous..love it.
Dolce doesn't sound as sweet and lighthearted as I supposed. It sounds more...church-like and ethereal.. At the start, it sounds like a song in the church or sth. like that. BTW, the shift between the verse and the hook is kind of...weird...=____=". Instead of rich and creamy Dulce de leche, I think of a pastel rainbow colour cotton candy which is lighter and more fluffy or sth. like that.. (I don't like cotton candy, but it's what popping in my mind when I heard this song..lol.)
Kimi wa Hikari ni Kaete Yuku... Umm... no comment. It isn't that their singing is bad but I just don't like Wakana's&Keiko's singing style in this version... The music is good though..
Love Fairytale... Wakana voice in this song sounds so sweet and mellow, as well as the music. Really really love the instrumental part. I wish that Keiko's solo would sound more gentle like Wakana did in her part. But the string here is really beautiful. Wakana's Kajiurago sounds so....TT...you know what I mean... Hikaru's Sayonara go well with the song but the difference made me feel a bit weird.. I may feel more familiar with it after listen to it more... The instrumental part at the end is really romantic...love it so much.
For Snow Falling and Seventh Heaven, there is no outstanding arrangement IMO.. The faster bridge in Snow Falling gives a feel of snow squall or sth. like that, but still doesn't stand out that much. I like their singing esp. soft and sweet Hikaru's&Keiko's singing in Seventh Heaven. I feel that Wakana did very well in Seventh Heaven as well in all other part except those high note parts which are like... I think it's as bad as or even worse than her Hikari Furu recording. I also love the strings in Seventh Heaven.
