Kalafina LIVE TOUR 2015-2016 "far on the water"

Thanks for the report Hatou! I wish I could go to one of these lives so very badly. I wish I was made of money. heh The talk about the goods was interesting. I hope they go up online soon. (Not that I have any money.) Someone take me with you! Though I would want Konno to be there, since he wasn't there for ACen either. I like that Yuki was there! It was awesome when she played with the girls at Anime Boston, but that was at the very start. I would love for her to play again with them, she could do Sorairo no Isu and Hokage. Wow, to be that close (talking about your friend) to Yuki at the concert would be amazing! I like the black and white outfits, and the gold ones (but I like the Budokan gold ones more) and the other ones are just weird. I kind of like Hikaru's but I kind of don't at the same time. I think people were saying about Heavenly Blue being there was because it was popular in Japan right? Anyways, the museum sounds like a bit of a let down this time, I was thinking they would have every single dress and a lot more pictures. They've had so many dresses/outfits, it would be so cool to see them all.

Ok, just got back from Akihabara for the first time.

The Far on the Water billboard is still up and it is huge.

Animate is selling the Calendar, still has the Budokan Live Photo Book and also have the Vocal Score in stock. Also various CDs and for some reason just the Consolation Live BD, didn't see any others. Luckily that's the one I needed still so I got it along with the Calendar.

Not much else to report regarding Kalafina yet though.

I recall now that Animate had a copy of Revo & Kajiura's Dream Port and YK Vol. #11 on BD.

Mandarake Grandchaos in Akiba has a couple bits in but only a few regular CDs.

Tower Records in Shibuya has a whole bunch of singles, all of their albums (including the special edition of Consolation) and every version of Far on the Water including the vinyls. They've also got the One Light vinyls still in stock.

Also got the Kajiura Works for Soundtrack box and the second FJ LIVE 2010-2013 set. They've got a whole bay or so dedicated to Kala BDs as well, guess they're still promoting the Budokan Lives. Did notice DVDs for YK Live 2008 and Vol. #9, and FJ YUUKA Vol #11 too, plus a copy of See-Saw's Dream Field. They also had FJ YUUKA's Circus and Destination and YK Vol. #9 on BD but I bought the only copies they had out.

Doubt there'll be much else in Tokyo that I'll go to that'll have YK-related material, I'll be off to Osaka on Thursday, not sure if it'll be then or Friday I'll head to Nipponbashi for the museum in Animate.

Oh actually, Mandarake had a B2 promo poster for the release of the Madoka Music Collection which I bought. I didn't even realise such a thing existed.

Hah, went to Dear Stage tonight, the final live show was various unknown idols singing covers of songs, (it's what Dear Stage is known for, Dempagumi.inc and Maon Kurosaki started out there initially amongst others) one of which sang a cover of Hikari no Senritsu. Considering she was attempting to do all three vocal parts by herself she did a pretty good job. I don't know what she said when she introduced herself but I did hear her say 'Kalafina-san' at one point.

Kalafina museum located, second floor in Animate in Dendentown. They've got the Red Day dresses on show here as I'd expected plus a bunch of nice photos from the Budokan live, I don't know if these were the same photos on display in Akiba. Those dresses are gorgeous in person I must say, although I prefer the Blue Day ones. They also had the After Eden Live playing up there, happened to be in there during the Sandpiper performance :plz:.

From what I saw they had:
Red and Blue day mugs
Kala slippers
White 2014 Tour shirt (small size only), Pretty much all the singles
Consolation LE
5th Anni Live RE
Regular SH/RM/AE
FotW LE, both types
One Light vinyl
FotW vinyl
All the lives on BD and DVD
Consolation Tour, Red/Blue Live and FotW Tour mini poster sets
Red/Blue Day tea
Some other thing
Red/Blue Day tote bag
Various postcard sets, around 6 sets plus the FotW set
2014 Live Tour pamphlet
Red/Blue pamphlet
Red/Blue live photo book
Kimi no Gin no Niwa Special Live pamphlet
FotW pamphlet

The Red/Blue Day mini poster set was sold out on their official store and wasn't available anywhere else either so if you want it, now's your chance.

I got a mug, some tea (I don't even know what I'll do with it but hey) two sets of the FotW mini poster set, the FotW postcardsand another set of the Red/Blue Day mini posters as I didn't get a chance to pick up one until they were gone.

As for the postcards from the museum, you can get all of them in one go with one transaction.

Didn't see much stuff other than Kala CDs around in Animate or Melonbooks. Animate has the Vocal Store on the ground floor and I don't think it counts towards postcards, I don't remember seeing it up in the museum. Melonbooks has the second YK BEST CD as well.

Wasn't planning to go to the museum but since I was around Nipponbashi today I thought might as well. Tbh I wasn't expecting much and it really wasn't much but the dresses are indeed pretty (I do like most people prefer the blue though). The photos on display/sale are all very nice but I convinced myself that I don't need them. haha (sorry). I am tired and super sore from walking around but I'll be heading to the venue in a little bit. It really hasn't hit me yet. ;o; will edit later

Edit: soo tired (because they sealed off a shortcut so it took me like a billion transfers just to get back) but anyway I agree, I thought it was amazing too despite there being technical difficulties the first one or two songs. Actually I thought the music was too loud for some tbh. A song I actually really enjoyed was Hokage, the singing was 99% perfect as well as the bg not too loud. I forget what they said before they sung Musunde Hiraku but because of it I actually like the song now too. Hikaru is really inconsistent with the loudness of her voice, sometimes she is too loud but when she is on point she is great. Her Kansai-ben attempt was cute. Was not expecting symphonia but it was amazing. imo Keiko was the most on point today but great job from the girls overall. I am anticipating tomorrow now
o(`ω´ )o
Also I think I saw you(?) @Daiima or @Seasonreaper if you went to Animate today lol (if you were sitting in B section)

Hell yeah, great concert! I must admit it took me some time to get totally in but at least I could really enjoy this!!
The sound needed improvement, I'm glad I've brought my ear plugs to cut the highest frequencies because the voices' output sounded saturated to me.
Wakana was heavenly. Keiko made the show as usual. I didn't notice anything bad about Hikaru, she sounded very good to me, but she was really cute in her attempt to promote the poncho in Kansai-ben... And when she fell down, I think it was on Signal! happily she could perfectly resume her performance, although she struggled a bit to get back up.
I can confirm the technical issues, with mics sort of falling on the ground, or the elec. guitarist attempting to play on MCs ^_^
Oh, and this setlist. Utsukushisa as intro was a real delight. Then Kagayaku and Storia for the classics. Identify set the fire to the whole hall. Wakana in Hokage was gorgeous. And Ongaku, about which I usually think "why this again?" when watched on tape, even managed to make me move.
And, to the regret of those loving this one, no Heavenly Blue, so that was an heavenly live for us. But the MCs and the waiting for the Encore were VERY long.

PS: if I can remember well, yes I was wandering at Animate around 10-11, and we were in the left B block.

(now time for Shôko-tan... If only I can catch a subway before getting there late)

The set list is the same as in Tokyo except the day 1 last encore song was symphonia while today's was Mirai (which tbh I'm kind of disappointed wasn't HB lol but then I wasn't expecting them to sing it) btw they sung it amazingly! Also btw no Konno for today's show, it was Morimoto (Yasuhiro?) but he was awesome too.

Anyway, no technical difficulties today ^o^ also idk if it was because I was in section C this time but the sound was a lot better today (as well as visuals of the stage as a whole). The girls started off really well with Koibito and monochrome was seriously perfect (and I never say that about performances). Hikaru still had loudness issues at times but better than yesterday and Wakana went flat a couple times like once in that high note in Ongaku and another time somewhere else but imo Day 2 was better overall. The sorairo no isu/lapis/kagayaku from Day 1 was better though. I think my favorite part is still the into the water -> in every nothing transition... so cool >_< after the encore ended, they played Samidare and the girls did a cute march together to the side of the stage to say goodbye. (Also I did not realize there were so many fans of Misterioso haha)
ahh I'm so ;o; right now ...

They played Mirai today? That at least makes me a little less upset I couldn't go to both. I wonder what they'll do for the rest of the tour? Also no Konno either? Hmm.

I did notice the sound wasn't the best I've heard but damn everything sounded so good and I was enjoying it so much I can let it slide.

There were numerous parts where the girls' vocals actually gave me shivers, all three of them had their moments like that. Just wow. I'm happy with Symphonia as an end as well, it's a really lovely song and works well as a finale. KnGnN is better but I've heard the girls sing it before and with no accordionist I'm pleased with the song we got. Better than the other two options by a lot so I think I chose the right day to go.

I'll do a proper report later on. Right now I'm crazy tired and mulling things over (well less mulling, more just in a daze of happiness)

haha if i remember correctly, they said something about wanting to sing a song to uplift and give power to the audience. Mirai is probably one of my least favorite Kalafina songs but they sang it so well that I temporarily forgot about that fact. I agree that symphonia was a great finale though. I'm also anticipating what they'll do for the rest of the tour stops.

Yes, I was this way about Hikaru furu, not liking it so much (still don't really) but after Wakana nailed it at ACen it really drew me in. So seeing songs live can do that to you. It is odd that Konno isn't there sometimes, but I guess that means that other artists can get a shot with Kalafina, so that's great. I was just saying that I hope they sing Samidare live! Ahhh I wish I would have been there! It must have truly been amazing. Was it acappella or with the band?

@george1234 : @nodame89 posted this on Twitter today, with Samidare being at the end of day 2 then? https://nodame89.wordpress.com/2015...th-and-25th-october-2015-at-grand-cube-osaka/

Er no I meant like they put on the song, but didn't sing it. Sorry if that was confusing. You know how when a concert finishes and everyone is leaving they put on a song? Konno also won't be able to make one of the dates in November so it will be Morimoto again.
