Kalafina in NHK「MUSIC JAPAN ANISONG SP2」

:uh..: this was sure a really bad performance :cry: (although i think they were kind of better after the middle of the song)

so I wonder if they do any rehearsals before each performance, because they seem not to do (or they dont do them properly) :blood:

You can, she does backing vocal during all the song and especially at the part which was originally Maya's (in the seventh heaven DVD performance of the song)

From what I could hear, Wakana was the worst. Incredibly forced singing, not hitting (almost) any note right.

I might have been preconceived. I just don't like Hikaru very much and I really hate her voice at the beginning and at the end of this performance :uh..:

and Wakana definitely had problems with reaching high pitched notes and taking breath :uh..:

Yeah I always have a problem with the breathing in Aria...do they HAVE to breathe right before the long note? :uh..: It just...ruins the song for me.

I think Keiko was a little too loud at the beginning. Either that or Wakana wasn't singing loud enough. I agree with everyone though. It was a bad performance no doubt :rain:
 
Yeah, the breathing is annoying, Wakana and Keiko at the beginning are also ridiculous (although it was, I think ,because of wakana). And Hikaru at the first verse sings too high, I think...
Overall the beginning is really awful, nothing like the DVD-Live.

After that, it was ok actually, and very acceptable if not good like the DVD-Live itself.

I was expecting worse from all the comments but only the beginning shocked me a little and the rest was interesting ^^; interesting to hear wakana sing with so much strength XD
 
Mmmmh not as bad as i thought it would be, but still bad.

Hikaru sounds like a dying old lady at the beginning :XD:

Oh well, still waiting for a live DVD (or blu ray? :shy: ) with delicious studio magic.

why tis time hikaru and wakana fail till so bad....the opening and the ending of the song hikaru fail it.... :omg:

The beginning (first verse) is pure FAIL.

They got better after the first chorus though...

and then... got worse again in the final chorus. Wakana's voice doesn't fit the song... and Hikaru started it that fail...

Conclusion: I still want Maya in the song after all. Keiko and Wakana can't do it as well as Maya :omg:

It's funny how the screen turned black/white at the beginning when they did the kajiurago chorus, like a HORROR MOVIE

kajiura-go at the beginning was :blood: and hikaru's voice was sooo shaky... and at the end --> "kodoku NO fune wo kogi", "garan NO sekai ni wa" and "amata no Aria ga hibiiteiru" was kinda false ._____.
wakana...well...she didn't hit her notes very well :confu: it's like she was searching her notes (step by step -> half note after half note until you hit the note you want xDD maybe you know what I mean xD)
I think keiko did a good job, unless the beginning is her fault xD

So start and end aren't that good like the yuki-concerts one .___.
in the middle I think it is a quite good performance
but I don't like the "originally"-maya part >_____< I want maya back! :cry:
