oh well...better than progressive ^^"
I think the guy didn't sing off-key...but...I don't like this kind of voice...it is just the way he spoke/sang the words...argh...it's so difficult to explain...fact is..I do not like this >_<
and he sang...so...aggressively... :uh..:
and I think of because the sang in an other way (pronounciation/aggressively) than kalafina his voice didn't blend with the three girls

I didn't think the guy was too bad. He's not off key though I preferred it when he sang harmony rather than the solo. Then again I couldn't stop laughing for some reason... :XD: His solo made him look like he was having a nervous breakdown HAHA. But yeah, I don't like the instrumental. Sounds like it's off beat for some reason :uh..:

It seems that the three girls were "strained" by our host :uh..:
Obviously, they did this one better than progressive :sparkleguy:
But yeah, there were still a lot off note things there. :uh..:

And Hironobu-san made the song sounded like tokusatsu song :XD:
Powerful and Aggressive :XD:

oh well, after hearing lacrimosa for the second time, it does get better and best after the half. Hikaru's chorus is lower than usual but great.

And while the man is great, his style is indeed funny. I want to hear him sing Lacrimosa completely.

The man's singing reminds me of someone I recognized.
And seconded > I want to hear him sing Lacrimosa completely too. :3

Anyhow, Lacrimosa LIVE > Progressive LIVE.
I wonder if he collaborated with them on Progressive also.. :ayashii:

no, because both the Lacrimosa and the progressive live are from the same event, he sung with them only in Lacrimosa.

Try to watch it for the 2nd time.... FAILED!!! :uh..:

I really can't accept the male voice. lacrimosa that i know...is all female.... :blood:

Will try again later... :ohoho:

I think from the short solo we can pretty much speculate what the song would sound like if the guy sang it entirely...although it would be interesting to actually hear :ayashii:

Is it that bad? :XD:

i prefer the lacrimosa live to the progressive one, but i still think kalafina's vocals were still a bit iffy. hikaru was better this time around, though; i can only be thankful.

i was amused by that guy though! his singing is a bit hard to get used to (and doesn't fit the style of the song), but it isn't half bad :XD:

on a side note, i wonder if yuki plans to work with any male vocalists for her future works. that would be nice.

Don't you mean his FLAILING is a little hard to get used to?

this is better than progressive
Wakana and Keiko sounds okay to me, Hikaru messed up :uh..:
they messed the opening, but most part are okay
the guy is quite okay too, just, what's with the gesture? :XD:
still, I prefer they didn't sing it with that guy, no matter how cool he is

i must agree with grunty
and people who don't know Kabeyama... shame on you (how the fu*k can you not know the singer of DGZ OP?! you could know at least that if nothing else <_<)
Also Kageyama deserves one big applause from mine side because he done great job to not be louder than them (which is something he's easily capable of xD) ... also i got feeling that when all 3 girls were singing they were the most horrible (right before Kageyamas' solo for example).
I'm starting to wonder if they are not in harmony just because the'yre not use to the 3 of them singing together or there is something else. Wakana and Keiko were still grate at live vol. 2 so maybe its Hikaru as such or the different structure of Kalafinas songs (though not all are that different) ... don't know... there's just something that confuses me at Kalafina live performances -.-;;

grunty, i want full program

DGZ OP? I don't know what is that... DBZ maybe?

I dunno wether the lame performance of the girls was because they had some bad days.
Well, from the official lives DVD, Kalafina was good.
From Kerahna who has attended the Boston Live, she said that they were good.

Gillsa was there too, she needs to give her thought here.

Chances are :
-The sounds in the DVDs are "corrected" to repair their bad performances or instruments
-the sounds of unofficial lives video (such as Lacrimosa, Progressive and Hanamori no Oka by Wakana and Keiko and Yuriko) are butchered along with the wrong coding and decoding.

Btw, i really really want to hear Lacrimosa male version... :XD:

I see lots of people trying to blame a bad performance on sound quality.

Regardless of the crappy mixing. They still sung bad.

Everyone has a bad day. It just happens.

Last chance for my Kalafina appreciation will be on Jan 10 (I think...), when they air that NHK MUSIC JAPAN! SP2 program (that they recorded few days ago). If they suck there... I give up.

I'll up tomorrow, Chibi~
