I didnt know they performed Lacrimosa...

Say what you want, you might not like his super vibrato voice but he is definitely not the one ruining the performance. He is NOT off-key and did better than all 3 of them.

Wakana I'm a bit puzzled about, she sounds a little forced but OK for the most part... (which is making me think I could blame the shows stage audio feedback)...

Keiko was blah, almost as if parts of it were too low for her to hit.

As for Hikaru... yudodis. Interestingly, she did the falsetto bridge part good.

Which brought me to a theory - I'm getting this feeling that they are screaming to the mics to hear themselves, which causes them to not be on-key...

Also, hurray at the final harmony. Nice to end on a good note, lol.
 
It's definitely the recording which is bad to me! Dx
we hear no instruments when they sing!! and we hear nothing each time the percussion plays @__@
it sounds chaotic, sometimes your hear the instruments, sometimes you don't hear them, and drums are cutting the singing...

A male voice leading some part ? hmm maybe it's a bit far from what Yuki wanted the song to sound like...or far from what i'm used to hear from Yuki's compositions!
I won't say that he doesn't sing well, it's just that he changes the shape of the song : it's aggressive when he sings (Cf his solo), and very sweet when the girls sing (just after his solo)...it's like you're trying to draw a shojo manga with the marvel comic style, I would say he doesn't have the appropriate style for this kind of song :O
 
That's much better than "Progressive", but it's still messy :uh..:
I liked the man's part, but he acted so strangely :ohoho: it was very funny to look at him since he looked a bit hysterical :plot:

and i don't listen to any Japanese music except for Kajiura and sometimes Kokia :plot:
 
lol, okay, so they weren't great to begin with, and the host... well... he committed a crime against humanity with that performance.
 
I completely forgot that 影山ヒロノブ was performing with them so when he started singing I thought, "WTF, Where'd this guy come from?"

Hm... wakana is a disaster in this one...
and the man is good if he is singing alone... totally awesome. But aside of that, it is as suck as Progressive.
