I've tried to post something about those dresses but they're failed to be posted. I guess that had to do with me using too many "shit" in my post lol.
Those kimonos were there in the background on Kalafina interview with SPICE video so I wasn't surprised seeing Kalafina in Kimono but seriously of all kimono designs they had to wear those kabuki ones where they're practically drowned in. Nope. Not liking it. The designs also have way too many going in, like what

Those blue dresses are basically their far on the water live dresses with some tweaks here and there (they have the same basic designs and pattern ffs) but these ones are much worse than fotw ones. What was Wakana wearing I don't even know. What's the point of those hanging sleeves. Keiko's is one piece bikini in disguise. Hikaru's is fotw black dress in, but in blue. Nope. No.
Those white ones are the better dresses but they aren't original either. They had some dresses with those designs before. So no, not liking it too much either.
They need to fire their designer and, if they aren't in cooperation with Atelier Pierrot anymore, need to work back with AP (they're the one supplying Kalafina with dresses on their earlier/debut days) because they (AP) are much better.
I guess with shitty songs come shitty dresses.
Completely agree with @AtlasStar about the setlist. I thought they're going to perform monochrome and Usumurasaki, with them inviting a percussionist and accordionist. BUT NO, THEY CHOOSE THOSE SAME SONGS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. monochrome can replace signal on the more "uplifting" part of the concert. They could've performed Ashita no Keshiki with percussionist and flutist there. But no, they instead opted with believe and ryb. I'd much rather have Eden than red moon because Eden sounds wonderful in Red Day with live flute. I think this has to do with Kalafina member having "new voices" and "new technique" so they played it safe and choose those overperformed songs they're already accustomed with.
@grunty I'm not excited for the live broadcast (knowing wowow they'd probably broadcast the single songs only lol plus the quality was blergh) but will probably watch it anyway.
tl;dr: those dresses are shitty, bring back Kala in corsets and Atelier Pierrot dresses. fire the designer and choreographer. the setlist is also shitty, there's almost no use bringing guest musicians because they don't use them to the fullest.
