I dont think it's possible.
Sales of second week always drop a lot. Even Arashi, AKB48 is not exception.
But, I think Kalafina sells well at second, third... weeks, compared with other artists. Even though their sales are not that great, they always chart for many weeks :)
Hope this single can manage 15~20k in total :)

it's a big shock when i know her first day sale less than 100.000

Actually this is pretty much of common nowadays. Usually only above rank 3 could sell more than ten thousand copies. Below that... Selling thousands are good already.

Kalafina's top sales ?? oblivious (single), with 38k++ sale. Top chart rangking was Red Moon (album) on #5.
 
Lol, don't be too surprised :XD: Not many girlgroups can sell more than 50000 nowadays. Even Morning Musume can't manage 50k at their 3 lastest singles. Only AKB48, SKE48 and blah blah 48... XD Perfume, and some other artists can do.
For a non-idol group like Kalafina, Hikari No Senritsu is already good sales. (Can't say anything abt Kagayaku since it's only 1st week).
Lol, why do you compare Kalafina with Ayu's sales? :XD: She's a diva, even though her sales are dropping, it's still very high compared with other artists.
P/S: I bet Kalafina sells abt 2k for 2nd week :)
 
sorry i didn't meat to compare both of them.
i thought is something normal for single sales more than 100000 copies.
and actually i compare them (kalafina) with FJ Yuuka. at least her single akatsuki no kuruma is high.
 
Well nowadays people can easily get the music free by downloading. And there's recession, too. Less people buying CDs etc. Only those with huge supporters will be able to sell more than 10k copies.
 
I bet piracy in your country is nothing compared to that in OUR country! :ohoho:

while it's a marvelous song in its own right, let's remember it was ANOTHER Gundam tie-in. :ayashii:
 
Akatsuki no Kuruma was released in 2003. That sales in 2003 is normal, but in 2010 it's great. Not many artists can manage more than 100k nowadays...

O/T: lol Ayu hasn't had 100K 1st day sales in years, let alone 1st week. :XD:
Don't worry she's doing fine considering Japan is in their idol group phase and solo artists/non-idol groups don't sell nearly as much as they used to. The only solo artists able to sell 30K+ in their 1st week are the ones with strong fanbases like Ayu, Hikki, Nami, and Kuu. I'm pretty sure you were thinking of the Western music market where million selling singles is more common (albums are another story). Though the Japanese music market is the 2nd largest in the world, they typically have had significantly lower sales than western artists and in this economy, million sellers for both albums and singles is very uncommon in Japan now. Add to the fact, that Oricon STILL doesn't count digital sales, just physical... and there ya go.

Kalafina's sales aren't as high as I'd like (or rather their chart position) but it's still certainly respectable in this music climate.
