thank you soooooo much george & takashi :sohappy: :sohappy:

loving Wakana's beautiful vocals

Thank you so much George and Takashi-san!

The quality is really good, as good as a CD rip :nosebleed:

Thank yoooouuu! George, takashi and hime-sannn~~ :chuu: :sohappy: *listening*

EDIT: wow it really does make a difference to the song hearing it like this  can hear keiko's parts better now and they're so nice, the way she sort of echoes hikaru's last word in the verses, 'yukeru' and 'hate made' :dote: The strings are beautiful :dote: wakachan's voice is so warm and tender sounding in this :shy: I love her last 'yume no daichiii'

And the strings are beautiful too :sohappy:

The song is less grand than symphonia but has a similar hopeful/optimistic mood - and it's so beautiful, I love it already :shy: :shy:

SO EXCITED FOR THE REST OF THE ALBUM!! :touched: :stars:

Re:

Thanks everyone.... :sohappy: . Hope we will have a preview of other songs soon....just 10sec per song may be enough for me to consider whether I'll buy it or not...^^.

Kyrie is not used as musical term in the song, but as "Oh lord" in greek, you can see it from the part where they say "Kyrie eleison".
I see your point...., but I think the same case goes for Fantasia :XD: . It seems like Yuki just wanted to write a song in genre (?) of "Kyrie/Kyrie Eleison" and "Fantasia" for Kalafina. I doubt that she put the words "Kyrie Eleison" in Kalafina's Kyrie without the idea about Kyrie song in her mind. Well...Symphonia and Intermezzo can be considered as Kalafina's style "Intermezzo" and "Symphonia" as well..:). (Even I think that in the latter two cases, it's more clear that she used these words to refer to a type of songs in the lyrics, I think it isn't that clear for Fantasia.)

But well....You may not consider Kyrie or Gloria as a type of songs (may be it's something more about religion and prayer..???), but for me it's just like Canon, Serenade, Waltz, Prelude, Requiem, Concerto, Symphony, etc. (Aria is a bit different because it refers to just a part of Opera solo..? lol.)

I lol-ed a lot with Kalafina-building-house story...:XD:.

Sorry for almost double post...:XD:, but the full version of Yume no Daichi sounds much more better than what I've heard from the documentary...keep looping it in winamp now... Bad news for my wallet...lol.

The flute at the beginning remind me of Eden and then the first verse is so close to Eternal Blue. (But the feeling is so different) Wakana's second verse and a part of the flute melody made me think of Saijin no Kanata e (around 0.42 for Wakana and 1.05 for flute, and so on...lol.), and the ending of many parts made me think of Symphonia.. Yuriko's (I guess it her) Kajiurago also sound familiar, but I can't tell where is it from..XP. Sounds like a mix of many old melodies, but they're the melodies I like so I won't complain..:XD:.

I really love...the bridge...??? I mean the part around 1.15-2.20. (It doesn't sound repetitive for me, or my ear isn't good enough to catch it..:XD:.) This song has quite weird structure for a pop song... sounds like ABA structure. (A:0.00-1.15 B: 1.15-2.20 A: 2.43-3.52, each part is separated by a short instrumental, no hook at all.)

As for the girls singing, I think Hikaru sounds a bit too aggressive for this song in her first and last verse, but the bridge parts are fine. Haven't heard much of Keiko, but all of what I heard are fine and she did a good ending for the song.

Wakana's voice is so calm and soothing, really fit for the song and her high notes (around 2.06) near the end of the bridge sound better than in Hikari Furu or Yani no Mukou ni. I can't say that I like it, but it's better, at least...:). For me, the reason that made me fall in love with this song is more about the melody than the singing. No one is outstanding in this song.

I've thought that the title 'Consolation' may bring a kind of ordinary Kalafina's ballad (which is a bit boring for me), but if it's something more soothing and sweet like Yume no Daichi, I think I'll love it... :shy: .

hikaru and wakana :uh..:

So they make the PV for Yume no Daichi, and not Consolation?

Kinda disappointing...But understandable, since they did the same with After Eden (symphonia is the one that get the PV)

It's just me or did they wear different outfits for the PV and the album cover?

Hikaru and Wakana looked really creepy with that expression, hairstyle, and outfit. Keiko's outfit is really plain compared to the other two. It feels like Keiko is Cinderella with her ragged dress, Wakana is Keiko's stepmother, and Hikaru is Keiko's stepsister for me :XD:

^Red Moon didn't get a PV either...

I actually quite like the photo, it's a rather different look, but I also really like your description :XD:

omg :nosebleed: :nosebleed: :nosebleed: :nosebleed: i love their dresses!!!

..their hair, not so much...really looking forward for this album!

Maybe I'm the only one who doesn't really like their dresses. I know that these dresses give the old gothic-dark Kalafina with vintage touch. But actually I prefer their practical outfits, like to the beginning, moonfesta, and Hikarifuru dresses that they could wear for their live performances.

Wakana and Hikaru's hair is almost on par with their seventh heaven hair. Fuzzy and big and wow. LOL. :XD:

ahh I really like the covers :dote: I love anything vintage
but gosh darn you school internet I want to watch the pv preview :voodoo:

Vintage gothic dresses very fit to Kalafina's image. Ahh my lovely Wa-chan now you everywhere in the center. :dote:
And without ponytail. :XD:
Why they are so beautiful :plz:
