Kalafina 3rd Album「After Eden」

I'm a bit curious. Besides not showing much of the concert (NUUUUUUUU! :omg: ) what did they put in the documentary?
 
The documentary has parts of the opening ceremony and Kalafina panel. If you got an autograph cosplaying you may see yourself - Keiko got a Kyuubey plush so cool for that girl cosplaying Madoka. It also has a lot of the usual Kalafina goofing up in between official duties and Hikaru's cake before the live. Etc...

I don't think the Magia live was 100% untouched but it's pretty cancerous nonetheless... =P

PS. The DVD doesn't even have a menu it seems.
 
But that mousepad doesn't come with the LE and even if it was a RE mousepad that pic is different from it. And also it's kind of too wide to be a mousepad.

I agree with Yuki88. Although not like red moon where Keiko got 2 songs almost all to herself (tetotetometome and yami no uta) at least in this album Kajiura minds to give Keiko a stanza or some lines for her solo part. In seventh heaven and red moon there are a lot of tracks that Keiko only stand there on background and didn't got even a stanza or solo part (serenato,ARIA,ashita no keshiki,natsu no ringo,oblivious,mata kaze too,because she only sing "mata kaze ga tsuyoku natta twice + boku no hou e fuite kita" from SH. red moon,hikari no senritsu *she only get one line for a 6 minutes song*, lacrimosa,intermezzo,storia,kyrie,haru wa kogane in red moon). In this album there are only 3 tracks where Keiko stand only has harmonizer (sandpiper,Kugatsu,Kotonoha).

I still prefer Wakana's chorus. Hikaru's chorus is just too... noisy.

BTW, I know that this is not important, but I'm listening to neverending and realize that this song is really weak. Intro from forest, stanzas from Hikari no Senritsu, chorus from forest, and ending from My Long Forgotten Cloistered Sleep, although the lalalala doesn't really sound the same. And Hikaru's voice in this one just really annoys me. Why didn't she get settled with her usual voice? Now if she doesn't sing in deep voice,she'll sing in her bright-opened-ear hurting voice. I miss her voice in her debut in Kalafina, like in sprinter/ARIA one.

Although I don't like the reason why this happened (but it's not like it wasn't to be expected).

I also found it sad that their "worst" album to date will most probably sell the most, but it's not like sales dictate the quality anyway

About Keiko, I still find it disturbing. In Seventh Heaven, she did have few parts as main vocalist, but it was obvious that that changed a bit in Red Moon. That being said, at least I expected that her situation would "improve" even more, but that's not necessarily what I see here.

PS: ELT doesn't sell anymore, so sad.

For example from the previous album, I absolutely adored Red Moon, Hikari no Senritsu'a best part was its bridge, but the part after it was so boring (since it had Wakana singing 4(?) stanzas with the exact same rhythm with nothing in between) Tetote was great too, I didn't liked fantasia and Haru wa Kogane no Yume no Naka, Hoshi no Utai, progressive. Yami no Uta was awesome until the part were Hikaru was starting singing, after it I could stand her screaming :uh..: the rest of the songs were great and I didnt pay much attention to intermezzo, Kyrie was ok. So I liked 5.5 out of 13. In After Eden is 7 out of 13 (liked sandpiper, destination unknown, Mune no Yukue, Kugatsu, Magia, snow falling, symphonia (although i sitll prefer the TV size ver without the bass), the rest were :S for me, especially 'in your eyes'.)
 
^Yes, but I still value the variation in Red Moon even if I don't care that much about the album. Nevertheless, I think it's kinda obvious that it's my opinion, but well, just pretend I had written a IMHO in my previous post then.

Kajiura is reading twitter and her previous interview about why did she don't give an equal portion for each girls in her work. Especially the lack of Keiko in every track/songs she created for Kalafina. So she called Keiko.
Kajiura : Lot of your fans want to hear you more in my songs, Keiko.
Keiko : Wow, thanks to them. So will you create them? *requesting with big teary eyes*
Kajiura : But I won't give an album with lot of tracks for you now. I'll create it later. I love to see them pleading to me. HUAHAHAHAHAHA.
Keiko : But, Kajiura-sama. Please. Give me more part in your songs...
Kajiura : No.
Keiko : pleeasseee...
Kajiura : Okay. I'll give you one stanza in every song in this album, but now you won't get a song full to yourself, like tetotetometome.
Keiko : But...
Kajiura : Take it or leave it?
Keiko : But...
Kajiura : Final decision, take it or leave it?
Keiko : Okay. Better one stanza than nothing.
Kajiura : And, can you call Hikaru? I'll make this album full of her voice now.

I only liked 5 tracks from this album. Magnolia, Mune no Yukue, in your eyes,symphonia and kotonoha.Magia,snow falling,sandpiper, destination unknown is just "fair" for me. Eden,Kugatsu and neverending is a big no.
 
Oh yay for ISO in Torrent, but no one is seeding and it says i have to wait 21 hours for completion, hopefully someone posts a separate upload somewhere. Also, i know we have the lyrics but do we have scans yet?
