Kalafina 19th single "Blaze" ED for Arslan Senki Fuujin Ranbu

Definitely One Light 2.0, but I'm fine with that since I liked one light quite a bit. Hikaru sounds a bit strained and the background is kinda meh, though. I'm still looking forward to it. Hopefully Keiko has some parts.

Well, Wakana may have a part in it, since it is only just a snipit. I am unsure of it, I hope Keiko gets more lines though. It seems like a cross between the one light PV and Parallel Hearts, the outdoor scene but darkened. heh I will have to listen to it on July 10th for the tv size.

Seriously Kalafina PVs are nearing to be as cheap as Kaori's. Some Korean artists seem to throw millions in PV making while Sony is becoming more and more tightfisted

You're really comparing Kalafina to Korean "artists"?

And isn't it obvious HIKARU is lead and WAKANA is upper harmony while KEIKO is lower?
 
Hey, I didn't hate it as I thought I would, from your comments. It's just a normalish thing, from these few seconds we have. I like that Hikaru is singing here, I don't think I could like another Wakana-lead ttb-rip-off song. I hope this will not be the case.
Also, I wasn't a fan of One Light, but now I sing it passionately whenever I listen to it, so it grew on me a lot. As it often happens to me (it didn't happen with believe, though, so for me it is: ttb>OL>HB>believe)
I guess these are just the kind of songs that Kajiura is asked to provide for anime right now. I hope b-sides are more interesting at least. I still like b-sides and album songs.
 
Hmm yup sounds exactly like One Light ver.2 but that's okay, I'm still very excited for the B-Sides since I always look forward to them more.
Also the girls look gorgeous like always. :imdead:

Im comparing their PVs which exist on both and so i can compare them. Their PVs on both arent decided by the singer so here im basically comparing the efford the companies put, which is unrelated to the music quality

And no it wasnt obvious for me since i have trouble with my audio driver which stop function after unplugging headphone ir whatever, so im rellying on the laptop speakers which is 5 years old.

lolyeah. seems weird but repeating new kala single teaser for 20 times a day is what i always do to love that song. as stated by many people here, sometimes YK songs need time for us to love them :plot:
 
Now I like more OL than this sample. I have an impression that I hear in some verses Wakana's voice higher than Hikaru and Keiko... I think that Wakana would have some lines on the beginning of the song or during the bridge (I pray the chorus would not sound like chorus from OL, RYB, FOW, HB...)
 
I'm excited to hear the full thing! I personally love OL, and since it's for the same anime, it makes sense that Blaze has the same feel. Sounds cool so far but hard to truly judge based on such a small snippet.
 
One thing that I'm definitely interested in is how the flute is used. I recall that it was listed as one of the instruments used, so I hope there's a solo somewhere, not like in Hoshi no Utai where (for the most part) it was used in the background.

if you mean the pics of musicians Yuki was twitting these could be for the b-side or for an ost she is preparing. (she said she was mixing "less than 30 tracks" + 4 tracks of a single " (trans by yuki.n)

could be the single or that soundtrack. and if single, from the style of A-side it would be a little weird if it had flute in, so its probably the b-side. Anyway we will find out tomorrow :)
