^Funny, now that mention Lacrimosa, I used to like it quite a lot, but after looping it a few times, I got tired of it.

[sorry for off-topic]

^ I like Lacrimosa in regulated doses...too much and I get a bit sick of it, but I still like it in general~ :sohappy:

I hope the B-side is a ballad...I think Kalafina does better with their ballads or slower songs in general than their faster ones...

To be honest, though, a part of me deep inside is hoping for a return to the likes of Seventh Heaven :shy: but that's probably unlikely

But yeah...manten sounds like it'll be a happy (or hopeful?) ballad from the title...(maybe something like I have a dream?? :waii: I'd like that...)

And lol, first thing I thought of when I read 'manten' was 'mantou' which is a mandarin word for chinese steamed bun :XD:

EDIT: speaking of which, the Japanese word for whole sky is actually really similar to the Chinese - 'mantien' :XD: (sorry this is a bit off-topic)

^I love I have a dream as well so I would be okay with that. manten for some reason reminds me of heigen, so maybe it will be another african type song? lol gah I can't wait until April even though we've already heard most of to the beginning. I guess they can't all be long though. heh

i haaaaaaaaaaave a dreaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam~
it's in yooooour eeeeeeeeyeeeeeeeeeees~

Nothanks.

I'd like a song like Aria or Red moon. But they are too epic to be a b-side :ohoho: A song like Lirica would be nice too.

Ah, never mind :XD:

Actually, I think there's a good chance that it could be a song like Heigen, with the similar natural sort of title...
The African-type song is In Your Eyes, though. :imdead:

heh I didn't mean it would be like both an african and i have a dream, would be either or... if that makes sense. :XD:

I'm also one who don't like Lacrimosa...and also Seventh Heaven... (while I know that it's many one favourite....everyone has their own taste...XD)

I don't think it's just similar.... it's the same word&same letter, right?..:XD:. Just different pronunciation. (It's the one of classic examples when my Chinese grandpa talked about the similarity of Chinese&Japanese..XP.)

Hmm...I would call In Your Eyes as Hawaiian type song as well...lol..(or any other BEACH-featuring place... :ohoho: .) When talking about African-type Yuki's song...the first one coming into my mind is Mune no Yukue... :XD: .

Yeah my parents can actually read some Japanese because of its use of Chinese characters too. And sometimes the character holds the same meaning but with a completely different pronunciation. Or at other times the character has the same meaning but with a very similar pronunciation, like in ‘manten’ and ‘mantien’ (though the name still reminds me of mantou for some reason XD)

In your eyes reminds me of South America/Brazil –type sort of place…
...to me, Mune no Yukue = that scene from a Disney movie where the main characters are sitting on a giant leaf floating down a river, surrounded by a chorus of singing wildlife

:XD: :XD:

^ Yea, these chants the man does are suppoed to be from northern europe (scandinavia) so its more like a valkyrian song than african :XD:

No offense, but I hate it when people say that ballads or slow/mellow songs are sleepy.

Yup, I agree with you. I hear destination unknown and Magnolia for my lullaby and I use heigen for my wake-up-morning song. In Kalafina's case, their techno songs are more sleepy. Maybe that's because most techno songs have Wakana as lead vocal and by hearing her voice I can easily sleep (not that I say Wakana's voice is boring...)

For me Manten will be a ballad (because most Kalafina's b-sides are ballad), and by the way its title written maybe it will be Nohara-esque or Kizuato-esque with Keiko and Wakana as lead vocal. A song with less Hikaru (because there's none since lirica) is what I kinda hoped for.

^Hikaru isn't the main vocal in to the beginning either, from what we've heard at least.
