^'Sound manipulator'? That sounds interesting. Two questions: 1. what does that job entail?

^ The Japanese just use the term "manipulator" and that appears to be the person who does the fold-back mixing from side-stage for the singers/instrumentalists on stage.
On Kalafina / YK / other concert videos e.g. Animax Musix one often sees these people introduced and credited at some stage.
