Casarina, snow falling is beautiful, though it depends partially on the type of snow. If there is no wind, the snow flakes are mesmerizing. However, if it is windy, specially when it hits your face, not so much. While snow falling is beautiful, the aftermath might not necessarily be so. If it melts right away, no problem. If it sticks on the ground, it is a bit of a pain: if it melts and freezes back, it is dangerous for pedestrian. The same for roads, where the resulting slush is messy as well. I usually joke there is a reason why Hollywood writers live in places such as California or Florida: yeah, it is romantic in movies but not necessarily the aftermath!
But, back to the topic, sunset. It is more romantic!
@Casachan: oh, I hope you get to see snow one day.
@KimH: I even like when snow sticks on the ground, but usually it becomes mess in the city I remember last winter there was so much snow that it broke three records in one season for our country. When the first snow fell, it fell 60cm in one night and it was a complete chaos in the town next day
Megy, you mean savoury? I am OK with a sweet/savoury type dish, such as maple bacon donut or chocolate bacon. Wait, bacon in general? But, if I have to choose one, I will stick with savoury.
