it bothers me when people write "tsubasa chronicles"
on a different note, i went to the apple store yesterday and played with ipod touch, its so cool x) the driving game that you steer by tilting the ipod XD

I love that game and some others like the labyrinth with that ball where you have to tilt the iPod to get through :dote:
It's really amazing what you can do with the iPod Touch.
Muhahah, I know how to develop such games, but I'm still a newbe to do so... :comeback:

i used to have the real wood labyrinth game and i played it for hours and hours and then one of the strings inside broke and i couldnt fix it :'(

it even has Chrash Bandicoot and Super Monkey Ball or Bomberman xDD
It's like a new Handheld from Apple. Their second gaming system! :XD:

Actually, I don't like Apple very much.
Especially the iPod. It is greatly overrated.

Want a decent music player? Buy an iAudio (Reeaally good sound quality).
Want a decent video player? Buy an Archos.
Want a mp3 player made for its looks, not its functionality? Buy an iPod.

I have an Archos 605 WiFi 80 GB. It is an 80 GB hard disk video player with a 4.3 inch touchscreen that has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and a colour depth of 24 bits! Also it has wireless internet, can read PDF files and play flash movies / games. Which makes it the first video player ever to be able to stream YouTube movies directly from the internet via WiFi.

...and it can play virtually everything (though not MKV, sigh)...

You never used an iPod Touch, do you?
It can read PDF, txt, Pages and even doc. Does not need to play every movie or audio format, because iTunes convertes your mobies and music into the format you like. It can stream YouTube (has even an application for YouTube on the mainscreen).
It has a google maps app wich is really cool, because it can even lacate your position and the best thing is - and you won't find this on ANY other player - it has user generated applications for allmost everything. You can play desktop class games on it with an accelerator. You can develop your own apps and find a app for everything you need in the App Store, directly from the iPod itself.
 
Yeah. For locating you need more than one wlan network around. (only need to be connected to one)

The iPhone itself uses wlan and cellphone towers for that, so you can use it anywhere.

Funny thing is that I have no trouble to find internet in germany... open everywhere, no one cares about protecting it.... :XD:
 
I dislike the compatibility programs of Apple product. They are made to work with other Apple programs / products only. And I HATE having to convert enery bloody file before the iPod plays it. Right now I just slam all stuff into the device and I can play it. In fact, I can even access the files from my computer remotely via WiFi or play files directly from an external hard disk.

A week ago I linked a 320 GB and a 250 GB hard disk directly into my player at the same time, good for a total of 80 GB of internal storage space, 570 GB direct external storage space and 400 GB storage space via WiFi on my player. It meant having a total of 1050 GB storage capacity in my house directly accesible via the Archos :XD: .
 
So you streamed the music to your device or do you had to connect the hard discs directly to your Archos?
 
Streaming from pc's via WiFi, streaming from external hard disks via 2 USB cables (directly linked into the Archos). If the computers in the house had more storage capacity, I could increase the available data to unlimited amounts.

Also, this post is made typing on my Archos.
