Anyway.

I see on KONAMI's website that the game (and eternal blue) come out Oct. 27? That's a pretty long time to wait, they dropped the preview early. :ghost:

EDIT: I saw your post, Kowzie, you sneaky rascal! :ohoho:

For me, every part is important. Hee~ :V: maybe FJ song will be less interesting if there isn't Yuriko voice in the background! Hahaha!

I don't mind about Kaori always being a lead since Keiko & Wakana already has Kalafina.
But I do want more Yuriko nee-chan! :dote:

I have both releases here http://canta-per-me.net/upcoming-works/ and in the calendar (the game and its OST come out the same day). and there's nothing to really wait for since eternal blue is going to be game size aka what we see in the intro trailer

But it will be an official OP size, not a Youtube rip. A small but nice difference, I'd say. :sparkleguy:

Yuriko isn't allowed to sing a solo, don't be silly. She must always be delegated to chorus duty!

Then what's the whole Noir OST about? :groucho: It had a total of FOUR songs by Yuriko, including Yuki's two groundbreaking hits. There's also Himitsu and Here We Stand in the Morning Dew in FJ's first album. And if we count Kajiuran songs, Yuriko has a big share of those as well. :sparkleguy:

So it may be summing up to what KP-X said - Yuki creates a song and chooses the vocal arrangement she thinks most appropriate, as usual. If that means putting Yuriko to chorus, then so be it. I'm sure Yuriko will get more solos in future. :sohappy:

I've never seen being delegated to chorus as a second-rate role. Especially since Yuriko gets a lot of interesting parts to sing. *shrugs*

I'd say, "especially since she's probably featured in MORE songs - with real languages or not - than all other Yuki's vocalists combined" :plot: :sparkleguy: :V:
Btw, a couple of Saeko Chiba songs (Rosemary Story, Koi no Kiseki, Daia no Genseki) had Yuriko both singing chorus and coming out at the foreground for a verse or so. :ayashii:

I've not listened to the Noir OST, admittedly. I've been meaning to go and do it for a while but I keep getting distracted by other things and organizing.

Kajiura knows what she's doing well enough by now to know whose voices fit where in a song. :ohoho: I agree there.

Ah, I'm not saying that chorus is a second rate role, if that's what it sounds like;;

I think I've said, but Yuriko's Kajiuran is definitely nice to listen to and it really adds to the feel of the song, just like how Keiko's support compliments the songs extremely well, especially in live shows... But at the same time I would really like to hear their voices on their own, as the lead singer, since... Well, since I like their voices;;

I'm sure we all agree that there's no use trying to shoehorn Yuriko or Keiko into a role that doesn't suit them just for the sake of it, right? But that doesn't mean people wouldn't like to hear more of their individual voices.

It doesn't matter though; just a preference. I still like everything Kajiura is composing, as well as Wakana's, Hikaru's and Kaori Oda's voices, so I'm sure I'll love whatever she creates for this album.

If it has to include ONLY anime/game related songs then we will have to wait 3 more years :XD: Im sure that half of it will be parallel hearts, hitomi no chikara, toki no mukou maboroshi no sora, nohara, stone cold, hitorigoto and eternal blue, and the rest completely new songs (unless Yuki decides to cover older songs -me hopes for cover of either Gensou Rakuen or Shinkai no Kodoku) this is a short possibility that she will put Hikari no Yukue in since she didnt do so in Everlasting Songs.
+1 For Shinkai no Kodoku.. :ohoho:

I'll also hope for a couple of new songs for Yuuka.

Oh totally forgot about it :uh..: + 10000000000000 then 2-3 new songs is definitely what she deserves.

In Love goes on's case lyrics are by Mika Arisaka so she will have to change them if she's going to make a cover, and I doubt she will do it.
Did you mean Live goes on? I don't think that it'd be a problem. Mizu no Akashi lyrics wasn't written by Yuki as well, and Wakana covered it in everlasting song without much rearrangement. I want to +1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 for some new songs for Yuuka...

As for Yuriko's&Keiko's role in the album...I doubt that Keiko and Yuriko won't get any lead role for the songs in the new album.. Yuki uses Kaori&Wakana voices to be the lead role for the single main song because their voices are more favourable for Japanese market, like when Yuki mainly uses Wakana and Hikaru in Kalafina title song, right? However, Keiko finally got some lead role song in Kalafina's album. So I think that Keiko&Yuriko will get theirs in FJ's album as well. (And they also got their own solo songs in Everlasting Songs..:))

The repeated titles, like 03 and 06, are actually the same word written in kanji/kana, and then again in katakana alone. So I put the katakana versions in quotation marks to set them apart.

Sorry to cut you off, Ponti

Don't apologize for making things easier for me. :sparkleguy: If anything, I should thank you for saving me having to do it.

So...

Thank you!

Thanks so much ninetales! :sohappy:

but I think that the katakana word is just to help you read the kana, right :confu: so I wont paste it in the tracklist.

If anyone can help me find who is the composer of the game music as well as the artists of the ending them it would be really helpful.

I'm surprised 'eternal blue' doesnt have (game size) next to it, is there any possiblity that they ended up puttting thw whole song in ?!? :ayashii:

Double post, *bump*

I just noticed that the KONAMI shop now has a different coverart for the games original soundtrack, while the other one which was till today is still around, I wonder why's that.

Oh is the one Japan and the other US edition or something ? :ayashii: :confu:

Could be regular/special edition again.
A game OST isn't normally released in the US unless the game itself is. Of course, if the latter prospect becomes real, I'll only welcome it. :sohappy:

Did anyone notice yet that in the Discography it says November 27th when it actually comes out this month? Just wanted to say... and wow, it's so much, ugh, I want to buy it but I don't think I can right now.
