No, not at all. :shy:

As soon as they do, it's going on my ReminderFox. :glasses:

oh dear, yuriko kaida is filtered into the chorus again...

EDIT: sorry, i thought this was the stone cold thread.

i love it most when yuriko sings kajiuran parts :dote:

wish Yuriko gets the lead next time, but i love her kajiuran parts everytime she does it

maybe because she's the best person at kajiuran parts :plot:

yeah, on 3 FJ songs, Kaida only always sing the kajiuran part only

:blood:

It seems that Yuriko Kaida gets the least amount of parts, then followed by Keiko, with Wakana and Kaori Oda hogging the spotlight. :omg:

Not that I dislike Wakana's or Kaori Oda's voice, but s-still.

^i understand.we also want want Yuriko-neechan on the spotlight.
hmmm. .another maybe: she got most of Noir that now. . . :psst:

but that was long time ago

It doesn't bug me if the amount of singing per person is uneven, because I've gotten over the idea that equal vocal distribution = quality. I wouldn't want Yuki giving a vocal part to someone else just for the sake of fairness.

That being said, Yuki should really find a way to make FJ's original music more interesting since she keeps stuffing the girls into the same roles over and over again. I prefer FJ's cover songs because the vocalists have more flexibility in which roles they take so their vocal positions don't sound old and overused.

The post above me has so much sense that I could just fangirl over it all. Even though I still enjoy listening to Kajiura's work, it is getting a little formulaic, so some variety should be introduced...

...and I STILL SAY THAT THERE NEEDS TO BE A MORE NOTICABLE BRIDGE BETWEEN THE NORMAL VERSE AND THE CHORUS. :blood:

I also agree with winter. I kind of blame this "lack" of originality in FJ's original songs on the fact that they, until the present moment, have always been used in an anime (or, in eternal blue's case, a game). Not only that but they've always been used for an opening (and it seems that this is the same case as eternal blue). Generally, openings are always energetic, and it seems like Kaori's and Wakana's voices are the most suitable ones for this kind of song (or at least that's what Kajiura believes...beats me). I wish this formula won't happen in the new songs from the much expected album from FJ (that still doesn't have a date to be released :uh..: ).

I wish I could like this post :XD:

Precisely! I don't like this forumla thing, always the same person for the verses, same for the chorus, same for the bridge, etc. You said it all. After four songs with the same formula, a change in positions is need. Or even better, changes.

maybe Yuki wants FictionJunction to be known that way (identity). most FictionJunction original songs has the same genre, but i don't get tired of it since the vocal arrangement are fine with me. i still hope Yuriko might get the main part next time or the chorus part rather than the bridge for a change.i thought Yuki wants her music that way since it's self expression :knife:

I wonder if Yuki herself is not bored to compose the same songs :uh..:

I really liked composing things that sounded different and had different feels when I still had access to composing tools, so... I'd assume so. :uh..:

I think it's a difficulties that all artists must face....to make the identity, you need to preserve some rules in your work, but preserve too much rules in the following works sometimes leads to the cliche and boring songs... It's a difficulty of retaining the equilibrium between making the "uniqueness" and "freshness".

Not only Yuki, this problem happened with many composers.. especially, when one of their work became very popular, they tried to make a similar work because they thought that it'd be popular again, but the folks saw that the followings are just like copycats of the famous one.. :uh..:. (I just gave an example, and I don't think that Yuki's FictionJunction's works are in this case.)

I'm a bit disappointed for too much similarity of Parallel Heart-Toki no- and the latest...Eternal Blues. But I think that Stone Cold is something quite fresh for FictionJunction (even it isn't flawless and still has similar structure as the other songs), so I'm still optimistic and hope that new songs from FictionJunction can be as various and colourful as FJY songs are.

Well we all can't really say that Kajiura's work are familiar
I mean this year Magia was something really new XD :nosebleed:
i thought Magia was something really different...
i somehow can't really associated it with any Kalafina song
It kinda stands out :dote:

I too agree with Kagaribi no Hanabira, Stone Cold is fresh, especially
with Kajiura sama decision to make Wakana sing the chorus ^_^
it was really kinda nice XD
Hmm eternal blue...ya i agree that song does sound toki/Parallelish XD
Well even though Yuki is a great composer, sometimes certain songs she compose wont be so appealing to others. I think it is part and parcel of having a career like that :swt:

But i'm personally looking forward to Fate/Zero soundtrack XD
Listening Yuki do a Medieval Knight's theme would be pretty interesting
:shy:
