Explain why do you love "This YK Song/Perform" ? (non Kala)

i dunno much about Kajiura-sama's songs (since i started with Kalafina, not Kajiura-sama, and i'm prefer to watch video live than the songs), but hmm i know some of them...

Houseki (Keiko's ver, live 2009 ver.)
first FJ song i heard. i hated Keiko's voice at first time i knew Kalafina, but when i heard this song, i started to love Keiko's voice, and even now i love Keiko more than others...
somehow this song reminds me to hyde's voice...
i love Synchronicity too, but since it isn't "full Kajiura" *read above*, i'll skip it...

Mezame (FJ live 2008 ver.), Zodiacal Sign (live ver.), theme of Petit Cosette (live ver.)
i don't understand music at all, but i love Kajiuran. simply love them. Mezame sounds like battle, theme of Petit Cosette sounds horror, and Zodiacal Sign sounds... rock? ahaha my opinion...

Vanity
i love Wakana's voice here, she sounds like going to cry. i always feel "Wakana-san, don't let your tears flow down! i hold mine too!"

Here we stand in the morning dew (live ver.)
i hate Yuriko-san at first time, then HimeWakana-san told me to listen to this song. then i fell into that dew...

Parallel Hearts (live ver.), Yume no Tsubasa (FJ live ver.), Everlasting Song (live ver.)
simply nice and :dote: and :shy: and :nosebleed:

that's as far as i know, i'm still continuing to search more and more songs because i know i am late for this all...

You should listen to some FictionJunction Yuuka and See-Saw. :sparkleguy:

hehe, sankyuu Kowz-san for recommendation.
i know Yuuka's Akatsuki no Kuruma, Yakusoku, Aikoi, ... oh wait, i love that Aikoi. it makes me want to jump jump here and there!
and for See-Saw i only know Kimi wa Boku ni Niteiru... somehow it reminds me to Kagayaku Sora (Kalafina) and theme of Petit Cosette, but i prefer Kagayaku Sora and theme of Petit Cosette since both those songs have more-than-one voice and it sounds 'richer'... :dote: just my opinion though...

^ try Yuki Kajiura Live Vol. #4 Part 2 DVD too, it's full of awesome songs.

See-Saw: Anna ni Isho datta no ni, Tasogare no Umi, Indio, Sen ya ichi ya, Yasashii Yoake.

i also know Nowhere, but prefer to Kalafina version. Nowhere is too fast to be sung by one singer, i think?
i dunno the others, hehe i'll search~
thanks for recommendations again! :dote:

Just one? I could probably write a book on all the songs I like from Yuki alone. Well here's my opinion on one:

El Cazador

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SONG! I love the energy behind it, I love the arrangement of it I love the composition I love FJY's vocals. I love how it sounds Spanish even if it's just Kajiuran!

I feel this fits the energy of running and doing stuff and kicking ass over Hit and Run!. I love the orchestra backing of it over just regular electronic beat I could be wrong but I think there might be a guitar strumming as backing. This is just extremely catchy! This is another one where you shouldn't listen to it while driving because you will either sing along or put your foot to the gas. (Nowhere is another song that does that to me)

that's just one snippet of my thoughts of the first El Cazador OST but gets the point nicely.

people kept talking Credens Justitiam in Hikari Furu thread, and this night i had leisure time, so i searched the song, and....
it is an epic song!!! :sohappy: :shy: :nosebleed: :dote:
i kept listen to it for 30 minutes, then do my homeworks, then i listen to it again.
i just can't be bored to keep listen to it.
anybody can recommend some songs that similiar to Credens Justitiam to me??? onegaaaiiiii~ :knife:

^Try Ship of Fools. It's the opposite of CJ (CJ is "light" and SoF is "dark"), but it has similarity that I cant describe. :ohoho:

Most of non-Kalafina works I like are Kajiurago

Lovely violin :shy:
Canta Per Me II <my most played song, Will, I Talk to the Rain and My Dear Feather
The italicized titles infected me with chronic Kajiura fanboyism :ohoho:

Epic battle musics :nosebleed:
Godsibb, Surgam Identidem, Promised Pain and A Song of Storm and Fire

Sinister vibe :knife:
Awake, Ship of Fools, Nux Walpurgis, Venari Strigas, Catastrophe, Symposium Magarum and Prove Yourself

Non-Kalafina Keiko and Wakana's works
Preparation (Wakana) and Kaze no Machi he (Keiko)

okaaaaaaay, i am searching! =D//

eh, Canta Per Me II? :confu:
is the one that they sang in YK live vol 2 Canta Per Me I? :confu:

^canta per me II is purely instrumental and only fragments of the original melody is in the song

yes, i suppose you can call the one performed in the yk live as the "I" :XD:

Za Kowz would like to add a few songs to Aeveltra's categories:

Lovely violin :shy:
Canta Per Me II <my most played song, Will, I Talk to the Rain and My Dear Feather

Kissaten no E, Yasashisa no Guuwa, Asa Tsuka no Aida no Yasuragi, Guess How Much I Love You.

Epic battle musics :nosebleed:
Godsibb, Surgam Identidem, Promised Pain and A Song of Storm and Fire

Mezame, MATERIALISE!, Paradigm, Lightseekers.

Sinister vibe :knife:
Awake, Ship of Fools, Nux Walpurgis, Venari Strigas, Catastrophe, Symposium Magarum and Prove Yourself

Maxwell's Witch, Project Leviathan, Testament, U-DO~Febronia.

Non-Kalafina Keiko and Wakana's works
Preparation (Wakana) and Kaze no Machi he (Keiko)

Wakana: Hikari no Yukue and Where the Lights are (Japanese ver)

waaaw, so much recommendation songs!! Thanks all! :shy:

i've listened to Godsibb and Song of Storm and Fire (from YK live vol 2), and Itou-san was really great~ mostly in Song of Storm and Fire, i can feel the 'battle' between Itou-san and Utahime :XD:

but few days ago my internet connection had been disconnected, so i couldn't search the other songs~
and i am searching again now! once again, thanks all~

:sohappy: want to add mine~

『Distance』
the swelling and the wailing
the swelling of the strings part and Kaori's wailing during refrain.

『Sweet Song』
as simple as it named
simple concept, simple lyric, simple melody, yet very memorable.

『Credens Justitiam』
the reason i devoted my self to kajiura Yuki
the combination of upbeat melody with classical choral blew my mind.

thank you
