we already have a thread for explaining why do u love Kalafina songs :XD:

so this is a thread to discuss about any Yuki Kajiura's song that u love and explain why do u love it.


for example:


I love Everlasting Song and Yume No Tsubasa because the :dote: and :love: feeling of the song. i like the live ver where everyone are singing it, their vocal blending in the live ver are really beautiful. Yume No Tsubasa have more Love in the song, i love both the japanese and english versio (Tsubasa) :love:


Parallel Hearts, Toki No, Stone Cold, Eternal Blue :
These are my Kajiuran battle song :TdT:
when im listening to this songs, i gave imagination of epic battle scenes from some animes, manga, game, and even Tokusatsu that i like..
it have :TdT: feelings on it :hero:

Not exactly her own composition but-

Gatherway: My wake-up song. I kid you not.
 
I adore Wakana's voice in Mezame : she's really powerful :dote: :dote:
And Vanity , for me , is the best song with her main vocal *WW*
Then among other songs , I love Everlasting Songs , Here we stand in the morning dew , Salva nos , Parallel Hearts ; because these songs every time I listen to , give me always emotions.
Ah I can't forget "Stone Cold" :sohappy: (the PV is the best of FJ and min 4.37 to 5.50 are simply wonderful)
 
A Song of Storm and Fire. Still holds the title of my fave Yuki Kajiura track. For Eri Itou's breathtaking way of performing it. For an ominous choir. For a take-off whose "swooping" SFX followed by the refrain and ascending strings part almost literally vacuums you into the song. For a dance rhythm that has nothing to do with dancing, but a lot to do with the imression of frenetic heartbeat. For a melody that contains longing and deperation, grief and hope, weight of destiny and determination to defy it if needed. For a pensive oboe bridge. For being the first song (along with Ship of Fools) to introduce me to Yuki's trademark style, after all. :love:

My favorites are all related to the 6 utahime most of the time...

Akatsuki no Kuruma
My favorite Gundam theme, The Arrangement combine with Yuuka's singing makes it perfect.

A Song of Storm and Fire and Mezame
- simply melodic atmosphere coupled with beautiful kajiuran chants that carries a dark flow to it.

Zodiacal Signs
- The vocal harmony here is outstanding, it is chaotic at the same time beautiful like it is meant to be a song of worship and that I gladly worship Fion-sama.

Yume No Tsubasa
- It is so relaxing, Kaori's voice makes it so joyous that I can forget all my worries for a moment and smile while listening to her.

Nohara
- dreamy feeling, Keiko is so soothing in nohara it is easily my lulaby.

Eternal Blue
- Kaori + Wakana with Yuriko on Kajiurago, The energy is intense, a great Heroic battle theme for any fantasy setting.

Everlasting song
- Simply wonderful and yet another superb vocal harmony, I like Yuriko's vibrato here and everything goes along beautifully.

Mizu no Akashi
- Wakana makes me emotional every time I listen to her voice and it goes so well with the keyboard arrangement.

Ballad
- the surreal, haunting, poignant atmosphere
- the way the second and third choruses slightly change the chord progression
- the subtle piano and guitar

Calling
- the sheer passion in Kaori's voice
- the guitar solo, and that single shrieking high note in it
- Kaori's "haruka na toki o kakenukete", with no accompaniment at all

Emerald Green
- the sweet and joyful mood
- the choruses, especially "mabushisugiru basho de"
- the end, with Chiaki's "emerald green, kagaite..."

Hoshi ga Tokete
- the way the arrangement slowly grows louder
- the very quiet guitar behind the second line
- the solo, of course
- "hoshizuku to hitobito o tabi o tsuzukeru darou..."

Nux Walpurgis
- the alternating moods of despair, hopelessness and terror
- the way the strings slowly grow in volume after the first part
- Tokyo Konsei, as usual
 
Ensei/Himeboshi
My first yuki kajiura that i listened to.
Just love the sense of this divinity and tranquillity.
Makes me feel that life is complete

Mezame
Just love it, there is nothing really better about Mezame
sooo many Melodic lines all strung together by Yuki's sama
magic and talent. Splendid

Houseki
Love Keiko!!!!! and also the use of the slight usage augmented and diminished chords in the song. Splendid

Sis Puella Magica
Love the repetition, like how something is sooo alluring and attractive, like something that can grant anywish. Yet this song carries a pinch of despair and melancholy.

Hear Our Prayer
This song is my 2nd Yuki Kajiura song that i ever heard...
Brings sooo much comfort to me when i'm feeling down
really brings out this thought in my head: Will you hear our prayer?

Akatsuki No Kuruma and Honoo no Tobira
It has a nice feeling on it, actually most Yuki songs give me this feeling.The lonely yet contented feeling, these songs are my favorite Gundam Seed themes.

Everlasting Song (Live)
The beautiful melody, arrangement,vocal harmony was perfect and seeing the musicians and Yuki perform it live with enthusiasm makes me watch it again and again.

I Talk To The Rain, Grandpa's Violin, Hear Our Prayer, Will, Blue Clouds
I love the violin and other stings so much, and it
s as if I'm floating.

Dessert Sunset, The Dreamers
I feel like running, it's giving me a happy and mysterious mood.
 
the image theme of xenosaga (fatal fight)
I love this song so much. it just epic~
the melody and the voice is just... :dote:

In my long forgotten cloistered sleep
this song makes me imagine bout things..and I have some memories related to this song....~

mizu no akashi
when I listen to this song, it have some sort of calm feeling, warm, but lonely as well...I like this song so much~
 
fake wings

such a sad song, but on the other hand it gives you some hope that "he" will wait for you

le grand retour

-the simplicity of it, there are few instrumentals but that is what makes the song great in some ways
-it makes me feel so serene while listening, like being in nature, or overlooking a field, it is a peaceful melody
 
Akatsuki no Kuruma
because it has so much emotion. You can listen to this song and get it's meaning even if you don't understand the lyrics

Kimi ga ita Monogatari
i love listening to it outdoor at night, i suggest everyone to try it, gives you a nice feeling.

Fiction
it has a silent girl in it, who could be me.

Zodiacal Sign
i love witches and magicians and this song sounds like a spell to me


Himitsu (Yuriko's Version)
sounds so mysterious... and i'm amazed how such short lyrics can fill a 5 minute song :XD:

- slightly different from the style of typical kajiurago tracks

- Shinkai no Kodoku
So much feeling put in its singing that the first times i heard it it made me tear. Also love the violin and the piano in it and the fact that the climax of the song is so much different melody-wish from the rest of the song. :aww:

- Himitsu (Yuriko ver)
Insert what Midori said. Also Yuriko's singing is in whispering style :psst: making the song even more mysterious.

- Melody -salva nos ver-
Such a greet mixture of latin and english together! the piano and violin at the begining give such an epic atmosphere to it.

- Maze
Probably the fastest song by Yuri Kasahara. Love the song's harmonies.

you're exactly right, especially about Maze.
somehow that's the opposite to Himitsu, a lot of text in a short song
 
Faked Wings YurikoXKaori was really amazaing

Salva Nos
FJ version is my favorite, maybe because of the climax part, where Yuriko sings "aaaaahhhh" I always say that I love it so much and it's giving me an Italy, Renaissance or anything so nostalgic mood.
