thanks for posting those, both of you! the music japan live was really nice (i love uninstall!) and her outfit was so pretty! she needs to work on her stage presence though, it wasn't all that exciting to watch...

Finally watched her latest DVD, Own Write... Some thoughts:

- The "own write" parts of the DVD seem to be short videos to (her?) poetry... They are decent quality and Chiaki is nice to look at, so it doesn't really matter. :)
- First Pain PV is as horrible as the song itself.
- Blue Velvet... is actually REALLY nice, both PV (very fitting I thought) and song. The DVD and the new album cover are from the same shoot as the Blue Velvet PV. My blue belbet~
- Shylpeed is a very decent song, and is played over a montage video of rural areas where the Own write parts were filmed I presume.
- Special Features (unlike the main widescreen content, this is only in 4x3 AR): Uninstall and Prototype (don't think Prototype was available in THIS quality before) PVs.

tldr: for hardcore Chiaki fans. Treat it as an extended DVD single for Blue Velvet and Prototype, lol.

Ive download some of her PV from youtube, but haven't watched many lives...wow...thanks for everyone's sharing...^ ^. Her live perfs are so powerful...^ ^.

I also love some of Chiaki's works.. Uninstall, Vermillion, Prototype, Utsukushikereba sore de ii are great... , but I don't like First Pain...- -....I haven't listened to blue velvet. Maybe try to find it next time..lol.

P.S. Maxwell...it's the first time that I watched Yuri PV, too..lol.

her performance in Animelo 2008 along with Chihiro Yonekura was great. both sang themes for the GUNDAM series, which Chihiro talks about: "Do you know why the two of us were paired up?"

the new album by Chihiro Yonekura, Departure, will feature collaborations between her and other famous anison artists. one of them being Chiaki Ishikawa, who did lyrics and music for the song "12 banme no..".
