Hmm, from many novels that I read, I haven't read Lord of thhe Rings, Harry Potter, and Twilight :tea:

I usually read books that describe some historical events or books based on true stories. Recently I've read a book The Tears of My Soul by Sokreaksa S. Himm. It's about a boy who survived during Pol Pot's and the Khmer Rouge reigh in Cambodia, but his whole family was killed in front of his eyes. Such a cruel story. I can't imagine things like those could ever happen in this life :blood:

Thanks for copying my post, you stupid spammer

i love harry potter, i'm going to reread the whole series this summer! i like chronicles of narnia, and i gave up on reading lotr a while ago but i think i'll try again.
i like jodi picoult's books, my favorite short story is "a study in emerald" by neil gaiman, and my favorite book at the moment is "the know-it-all" by a.j. jacobs (a real life story about the author's quest to read the entire encyclopedia). for the record, twilight is crap and not worth reading :XD:

i'm currently reading a book called tokyo vice, about a gaijin newspaper reporter who writes about the darker side of japan. i'll read whatever genre as long as the book sounds interesting :sparkleguy:

Right now I'm reading The Two Towers (by Tolkien) aloud. I love doing the different voices, especially Gandalf and Pippin :dote:

Just finished the last Alex Rider book. I wasn't that interested at the beginning, but by that huge twist in the middle I was hooked as usual :plot: So it ended up being great.

there's only one book that i finished reading: the two princesses of bamarre. .i like to read informative books

i just bought these novels:

Halo :Cryptum
Transformers: Exodus, the story of war for cybertron

Currently ordering these novels :
Deus Ex: Machina
Transformers: Dark of Moon the novel

and also ordering:

Tokyo Vice

Judith Herrin - Byzantium: The Surprising Life of a Medieval Empire

And I've just finished reading Lustrum, by Robert Harris. :shy:

This month, I am just reading some Adobe tutorials books like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop for photographers. :sohappy:

But I need to finish Don Quixote de la Mancha. :uh..:

Currently reading Leo Tolstoy's Anna Karenina. Well, I usually read comics/mangas, so... :uh..:

Let's see...I used to read science books for fun ._. But recently I finished The Black Magician trilogy, by Trudi Canavan. Female author and female main character, if that means something to anyone. I found them pretty fun to read but the ending was D:

I also picked up this book I saw in the airport...Super Sad True Love Story by Gary Shteyngart. So far it's pretty much what the title says, haha. I doubt anyone is familiar with postmodernist literature but it reminds me of the book White Noise, by Don DeLillo, which made me very uncomfortable in the way that genre is supposed to make you feel. Except this one is more nostalgic and promises a less cold ending, so whew.

Simon Scarrow - Under the Eagle

:shy:

I started reading this in school, since I'd already read all the other things in the library. It wasn't half bad, though I did only manage to get to the second book before I found a book that I liked more;;

I hate leaving things unfinished, so I'll need to re-read them.

Just finished Star Trek: A Flag Full Of Stars by Brad Ferguson. One of the better TOS novels, actually.

A lot of the really early late-'70s/early-'80s ones are awful...just a whole bunch of Kirk/Spock stuff and weird surreal sci-fi concepts :uh..:

I'm beginning to slog my way through LOTR: Return of the King now...

Just finished Push (the book that the movie Precious is based off of). Simultaneously depressing and hopeful at the same time, it left a strong impression on me. I felt a lot of mixed emotions, but I think I like it.

I'm currently reading Public Enemies. It's about the American crime wave during the Depression and the FBI's rise to power. I have to read it a bit slower than usual because it has a lot of names and facts that you just can't skip, but it's very interesting.

The Greek and Roman Myths, A Guide to the Classical Stories - Philip Matyszak

Reading "Homefront"...

Interesting story, Its about America who is now occupied by the re-united Korean forces (under North Korea control).
