The Kalafina related merchandise shown on the CD Japan pages cracks me up...

Why? Doesn't everyone want to own a Kalafina salad bowl?

^ :omg: ...Wouldn't it be awkward sitting on their faces... whilst doing your business?

LOL well, at least they're not as innovative as some of the folks designing third party merchandise for Apple products. Toilet roll holder iPod dock, anyone? :ohoho:

I´m personally waiting for the Kalafina toilet seats.

:XD: :XD: :XD:

Maybe a Kalafina paper-cup-holder-thingy? Or at least a Kalafina clock?

Come to think of it, a Kala clock would be pretty neat...

Nice setlist, heavy blow to our savings incoming.
I'm pretty surprised that adore made it :sohappy:
Every other songs come "After Eden" though. :XD:

On the side note,another mousepad!!??

You've just given a brilliant idea to Sony :sparkleguy:

LOLed at Kerafina :ohoho:

I'll wait if YK live vol.8 will be released in DVD or not before getting Kalafina DVD. Because if YK vol.8 released in DVD/BD, Kalafina's one will be somewhat un-precious. only 21 songs in tracklist, 14 from after eden era (After Eden + adore), the rest already there in Red Moon DVD...but if in the rest 7 there are seventh heaven, serenato, lirica, utsukushisa, it will be still precious and worth-buying for me.

They should make the DVD from X-Mas acoustic live...

:TdT: :TdT: :TdT: :TdT: Heartache of the year for me

If they don't make YK vol.8 DVD/BD I think I'll just cry forever :spotlight: FictionJunction feels like the neglected older sibling to Kalafina (somewhat the favourite youngest child)

...however much I love both of them...I do wish FictionJunction would get some more attention cos they're different in style to Kalafina and can bring some more variety perhaps :TdT:

Not to mention I miss Kaori and Yuriko...and the magnificent 4-part harmony instead of 3...

+1
I really miss Kaori's live performances  I kinda prefer FJ lives over Kala lives because they feel like one happy family performing. Not saying that Kalafina concert aren't awesome but the heartwarming smiles when they look at each other during FJ lives are priceless and I feel that they can be more themselves over there :dote:

I'm going to definitely get this DVD just because of In Your Eyes, D.U. and Magnolia, but to be perfectly honest, I'd be happier if there was no Magia, Red Moon, or Kyrie. I'm thoroughly tired of hearing Magia now (it's been performed live way too much for my taste), and both Red Moon and Kyrie have little to no instrument solos to keep things fresh...while I'd like Utsukushisa, Lirica, and Serenato instead of Love Come Down, Fantasia and Ongaku, at least I know that Koichi-san's going to switch up his solos in those songs, so that's something to look forward to. (At least for me.)

As for Storia, Kagayaku, and Oblivious, I'm kinda ambivalent about them. I'm getting a little tired of Oblivious now since it seems to be their new regularly-performed song, and I like Storia and Kagayaku, but neither of them are particularly interesting to hear live. And I'm sure that recorded flute is going to pop up again, especially in Storia. :bloodlust:

As terrible as it sounds, I'm actually looking forward to watching and hearing the band's performances just a little more than I'm looking forward to Kala themselves :spotlight:

But I'd really love to hear Utsukushisa live, just once... :TdT:

^I'm also tired of Magia live, but sincerely, I know they will perform this song forever from now on. With this in mind, I personally try not to mind the song too much. The only thing that bothers me is that, deep inside, I know that, most probably, not only will I never get to listen to my favorite song live but also others songs have nearly been forgotten, been performed quite rarely.

I wish this DVD had lirica and serenato. When was the last time lirica was performed anyway? :confu:

^I don't think I've ever heard of lirica being performed live...:confu: :spotlight:

FictionJunction concerts feel more intimate to me for some reason...and (probs cos of Kaori+Keiko) but they seem to dance more, whereas Kalafina gestures and looks fierce/mysterious without seeming to move much around on stage

^FJ have a more natural air to them. It's like they are behaving in the way they want, while in Kalafina shows it's all about their already old "gestures" and fierce expressions that at least for me have that "fake" air to it. Not to mention it's silly lol
